Yea, I could never figure out if his "say hello to the AI" thing was him being an ass or him just being stupid. I always erred on the side of stupid. I mean that's a good insult and the rest of his insults are lame. He either got lucky there, or he had no idea what the crap he was saying.

I believe it was just a parting shot to get in the last word on Tali. But since the crew never actually interacts that much who the hell knows.
