All told though, my money on an actual betrayal, not a confrontation, is going to be the Virmire survivor. It id very suspicious that the reason the collectors are on Horizon doesn't get captured. I am betting on implantation/indoctrination forcing a betrayal for the survivor.

Well, if we're talking about a major betrayal, it almost makes sense that the Virmire Survivor or Liara would do it - simply because those characters are guaranteed to be alive.

And really, the only three loyalty missions that looked like they are going to have any real impact in Mass Effect 3 are Mordin, Tali, and Legion's.

If that whole 'dying sun' thing doesn't carry over somehow to ME3 than I'm going to be very surprised.

Yea, doesn't Parasini also mention something about lots of reports on weird dark energy stuff? I think dark energy is gonna factor in in some significant way in ME3.

Or maybe it was simply a plot hole. Then again, saving the VS on the Collector ship would be a little more dramatic and effective. Not to mention that it would be easier to convince them of what's really going on.

On Horizon it's like nothing happened.

"Oh, what's up, Ashley/Kaidan? What, me? I just killed a a dozen Collectors and husks and one Praetorian. So how was your day? Cool. Well, I guess we'll see each other later."

Yea, there's a lot of foreshadowing. Perhaps Dark Energy is the part of way that the Reapers are going to be defeated.

Awesome Collider. I have never seen that one. Is it just me or is Tali kinda crouching in some questionable territory there?

It really is kinda stupid that they won't believe you there given what just happened.

Horizon was just a way for Bioware to make sure the VS survives. Kaidan and Ashley have roughly the same dialog lines, I hear.

Oh don't get me started on Horizon. I still want to smack the stupid out of Kaidan/Ashley.

And we never got any answer to who or what decided to pop Haestrom's sun using dark energy. Maybe it's the Reapers doing some preemptive strikes, through some of their agents.

They want eezo badly after all.

I think it's uniquely poetic with Ashly as she makes the comment that the aliens are going to abandon Shepard when worse comes to worse.

Tali and Garrus both re-join Shepard despite the fact he's with Cerberus, Liara find Shepard's body and helps secure his 're-birth' and Wrex helps with Grunt giving him a reason to fight.

Who's the only one that really abandons Shepard here? <_<

The only difference is that Ashley is a little more...pissed off to put it in a simple way.

And she calls me a god, while Kaidan calls me a legend.Posted Image

Maybe, but I don't care.
I asked for their help and they ignored me, am I supposed to welcome them with open arms if they come trotting back in 3?
They can go **** themselves! I don't need that kind of help, thank you.

Also, Garrus calls Kaidan by his first name but he calls Ashley "Williams." Little noticed telling fact.

I think Garrus, as you said, keeps his distance from Ashley. I can understand that considering Ashley's prejudices. Ashley herself called into question Garrus' trustworthiness simply because he was a Turian. That ain't going to vibe with Garrus.

It really is revealing especially when compared to Tali. I mean, she joins you despite Cerberus and is even willing to let you talk her down in a confrontation with the geth. She offers Legion data for crying out loud all at Shep's urging.

Well, I'll accept an apology from them. If I don't get one, well, I'll be less receptive.

Anyway, I think I should go.

It's nearly 4 AM and even though I'm not even a little tried, I should at least try to get some sleep.

Keelah se'lai everyone.

What I hate is that they still go on like you abandoned them even if you tell them you were in a coma. It's like "Hello! Earth to Kaidan. I said COMA."
