When did Tali or Garrus get a chance to become indoctrinated? Or any of the ME2 LIs for that matter.

I know it's probably old hat to the locals, but what do you guys want to see happen romance-wise with Tali in ME3?

That's one is pretty difficult for me to answer.

Showing her face would be most welcome, though not necessary for a good romance.

I want the romance to go a little deeper (bow chicka bow wow) and evolve, because it was a tad rushed in ME2 to be honest. Shepard showed some signs that he more than liked Tali, but at one point, it jumps pretty far forward, to the point where he says that Tali is the only one he wants.

That can be done a little better in ME3.

That's just my opinion.

I want Tali to open up to Shepard more. Confide in him. Tell him her secrets. Things she's never told anyone else. I want her to ask Shepard how he's doing. I want them to talk about the relationship and how much it means to her. I want Shepard to tell her that the helmet never mattered, and that he loves her for her. And I want Tali to say that she loves him.

Indoctrination of any character, especially your LI, would be quite realistic.

When they were inside Bobby the Reaper.

Not for long, but it might've set something in motion.

Yea, but that's utterly dependent on the idea that you took them along. And what about Shep?

Wow, that's hardcore compared to Garrus stuff.  We can't even agree if Garrus should drop an "I love you."  But then all that is perfectly in character for Tali as well.  Garrus...not so much.

What I hate most about the indoctrination idea is that characters would be acting counter or differently from who they really are. Considering how much I like the characters, I don't like this.

You know I think a really cool application would be some kind of timer that ticks how long you had a party member in ME2.

They'll consider the one you have had the most to be the most valuable to you, then with that, that character along with your other human from ME have turned out to be indoctrinated.

THEN THAT'S WHEN YOU CHOOSE WHO TO SAVE (Answer: Not the Human from ME).

A number of things.

If Shep has a love interest in ME1, I'd like to see him fight for either--make him choose, ,get the other to have PERMANEN UNLOYAL STATE (if loyalty still plays), or make Shep go through a very-very difficult paragon/renegade check.

If Shep does not have any LI in ME1, and proceeds with Tali in ME2...I'd love to see a lot more character development, conversation, maybe some cuddling here and there. Would be nice to have Al Jilani a visit and have her insult Tali on public - her Shepard pawnch is overdued for my Paragade shep.

Maybe some private conversation between the two about the upcoming events, like 'bed talk' or something. Or maybe she can confront you before a plot-related mission, telling you to be careful, watch her back, to trust her, etc...

...that would be nice.

Didn't the devs flat out say they were gonna make ME3 lighter? That ME2 was the "dark middle chapter?" I know I read that somewhere. Can probably find a link if I must. That indoctrination scenario sounds too DA to me.

More dialogue, for one. The chance for Shepard and Tali to do a side mission just for them, romance related (not a date, per se, but something). Seeing Tali's reaction to the quarian/geth issue. Getting to punch out Al-Jilani for dissing on Tali as a choice in LI. Recurring NPC's reacting to their relationship. Party members commenting on it when out and about.

Tali and Shepard sailing into the sunset on the Normandy, secure in the safety of the galaxy, wanting to be on their home, with each other.

They did indeed say that. As well as having more humor (which I actually may not want, depending on how they do it). ME2 followed the typical trilogy structure of being the darkest chapter. Tali is getting exiled, Garrus is beating himself about his team dying. Ashley and Kaidan are convinced that Shepard betrayed the Alliance, Shepard herself has to work with a terrorist organization. The third act of the typical trilogy involves the characters getting themselves out of the figurative pit and triumphing over the enemy or achieving the goal.

Getting to punch al'Jilani is a recurring theme in the Garrus thread as well. As is more attention from party members and random NPCs. I bet it's safe to say that that is something everybody with an LI would like.

I want and see some similar things for the Garrus romance as well. He needs to be share more of his feelings with Shepard. As I mentioned previously, in ME2 Garrus became more reserved about telling other people his problems. In his romance in ME3, perhaps, he can tell them to her. On that note, of course, I want him to be comfortable with Shepard in the way of not worrying so much about sharing them. That also includes how he feels about Shepard. What he thinks about the relationship. Shepard says she doesn't care that he's a turian and she doesn't care about the problems the relationship may have. It's a nonissue for her, hell, it was never an issue for her - she wanted Garrus her partner, not Garrus the turian.

I did also say some other things in the Garrus thread, of course. I'd like those too.

Love is a bit much, considering how they have portrayed turians. I could see a "Shepard is mine" scenario. Especially if confronted by a former LI.

"Shepard is mine. Mine to hold, mine to cherish. Mine to protect, as much as she'll let me. I've always trusted her. I'll never leave her, never turn my back on her. She is mine, and I am hers."

Something like that would hold more true with Garrus IMO. I would like to see, for the Shep/Garrus, something awkward on Palaven. Not relationship breaking, just awkward.

Oh! What I'd LOVE to see/hear...

...is Joker commenting on Shepard when he figures Tali is his LI (we've seen Mordin and his sex talk--how did he figure that out, anyway?)

Joker: So Commander...you know I always liked Tali. Always liked Tali. So how come you're the lucky guy who gets to be with her? Its like having this kid with grubby paws steal your hard-earned money or ice cream and savor it with utmost emotions enough to...

Shepard: Joker...!

Joker: Shutting up now Commander...

I don't think Garrus is possessive.  Quite the opposite.  I like a thing Collider suggested earlier in the Garrus thread.  Some kind of line like "you're the best thing that's happened to me."  From Garrus that would be major stuff.

Emily Wong is the only reporter I allow to be within my fist range. I expect al'Jilani (I can never remeber that name without looking it up) to try and create a bad image of Shepard and his/her LI in ME3.

For once I'd like Emily to step up and request an interview with Shepard and their LI, but in a more friendly and respectful way.

What's even funnier to me is that an advice booklet for human/quarian or human/turian relations exists and Mordin either happens to have such a thing on hand or knows right where to look to find it....

I don't think Garrus is possessive either. Certainly, he's going to watch out for Shepard (or something). Not because he thinks she needs it, but because he wants to.

For you guys who want a confrontation. Which confrontation do you want? Liara/Tali or Ash/Tali and what kind of stuff do you want to hear said and be able to say yourselves?
