don't forget about the weapon he has rigth now the "I can take out a reaper with one shot" weapon, when he get's that working all hell is breaking loss, after the reapers is destoried ofcourse.

TIM has his own Death Star that scary he might kidnap Tali in order to get it working again.

I have a completely different view of TIM than most people.  He isn't Darth Vader or Xen or some kind of evil genius bent on destroying the galaxy.  Cerberus doesn't have the strength to withstand any kind of concerted effort to destroy them, and he knows it.  The only thing he is going to ever do is hide in the background and work on stuff like better weapons and biotics for humanity.  If he gets that weapon working, he'll sell it to someone else and use the profits to try and develop something new, like a vita chamber for humanity or something else.  That could give them the upper hand.

He is never going to attack/threaten the galaxy, or antagonize Shep in any way because he has nothing to gain from it.

power corupts it alway's do.

and I think he is more an enslavement or put the humans on top of the foodchain kind of guy.

we should stop this discoussion before we get the Thread closed.

Exactly.   TIM brings Shepard back from the dead, and some versions of Shepard want to kill him?

No good deed goes unpunished.

I don't want him dead for that He is brutal he would torture people to the point of insanity without a second thought. He would tear anybody wourld to shreads just to gain their alegance To me he is no better than the reapers

I just noticed that within a week, we've outclassed the other 'character support' board again...

What was it that letter said? That humanity could've reaped the benefits of her research, and now we shall just watch as Xen will bring back the quarian race to its former glory and gather the largest synthetic army in the galaxy?

She's a little more than "loony" if you ask me.

Yet she acts nothing like that when you talk to her on the Rayya. Nothing like a maniac whos only thought is to rule the galaxy.

Ok, maybe she's on a standard power-trip in a mad-scientist kinda' way. She'll be an obstacle in ME3, either forcing us to get the weapon she's developing against the Geth to be used to fight the reapers, or to stop her Geth army...which is unlikely.

...renegade Shep approving Geth under quarians, anyone?

I say, let them come. Want to see the faces of the council once they arrive. Care to say 'we dismiss that claim'? I don't think so. It would be epic to fight in ground-side in a massive war against reaper drones or something similar in one of the citadel race's homeworlds.

Earth HAS to be in it. Want to see the reaper blowing s**t up.

Xen is a little loony, there's something technically wrong in her way of thinking. Her last mail about restarting what Rael's research has produced is disturbing, but did give some insight.

I'm guessing an anti-synthetic weapon in development by the Quarians. Not for the reapers, but for the Geth. The Quarians will be packing a powerful arsenal against the reapers without them knowing it.

Returning the quarian race to its former glory isn't such a bad thing.  They've been kicked in the teeth, figuratively speaking, for 300 years.

Now let's suppose that Tali was not merely a fictional character.  Let's imagine her as a real person, who happens to be your close friend.  And you get to see her insulted and publicly humiliated, while you get called a bucket-lover.

Can you blame Daro'Xen?  Can you really blame her after all the council has done to guarantee that the quarian people will die out?  I cannot.

He already does somewhat if you talk to her before the Alarei (at least I think he does, never took the Renegade responses to Xen).

Anyhoo... did you read my "Quarian Question" post when I made it day or two ago?

So you approve of re-enslavement of a nascent (300 years is young) sentient race?  Not paragonic at all.  Sorry.  This isn't even in the morally grey area like the Genophage or the Heretic Rewrite/Destroy conundrum.

I would stand by Tali all the way, were she a real person, but genocide is taking things too far. The Geth were provoked and retaliated as it was the only way that they could survive. Therefore, if the quarians could admit that what they did to the Geth was wrong and could try to co-habilitate with the geth then peace is found and genocide is no longer recquired.

First of all, I highly doubt that weapon is capable of wiping out all non human life in the galaxy.  It killed one reaper, and that's it.  The weaponry available in the ME universe is scary, like M.A.D. all over again.  It would take a pretty big ace in the hole to take everyone out before they could retaliate.

I think that weapon hitting a planet is the equivelant of the asteroid that wiped out the dinasaurs.

Besides, we don't know if it's a planetary weapon or not. Could be a space station in orbit around a planet.

We agree on that much, the TIM is corrupt ship sailed long ago.  I'm just saying that his method is going to be completely different than what most people think.  If enslavement of the galaxy was possible, he could go that route, but his army capability will never be at the level to make it feasible.

um.. that would simply  ****** shepherd off

Edit:

Cerberus Operative A: Yeah boss so  we did what you told us to do...

T.I.M:  And?

Cerberus Operative B: We have  the Quarain in the cell

T.I.M:  What did ask you to do?

Cerberus Operative A:  getting  something that  could be used as leverage on Shepherd.

Cerberus Operative b: Yeah so we got his girl,  we thought you would be happy boss.

T.I.M: If  I was pleased with this I would be smiling. I am not smiling.   Make sure she feed  and well taken care of i have some business to attended to.

Cerberus Operative  A&B : Yes  Boss.

T.I.M: Shepherd I have  come across some information that will prove helpful in your search for Ms Zorah.  Here is the location of the Rogue Cell.

T.I.M : So hard to find good help these days .

This is a case of moral absolutes versus moral relativism.  Does one sacrifice one race to benefit many?

Comes down to who and what you are, and not just in a game.

Would I do it for Tali and her people?  Yes.

Would I do it to stop the Reapers?  Again, Yes.

Choice may vary.

I might point out that netheir side was the innercent, but never the less they need to put the conflict aside and work together making a better future for the future generation and not pass on their sins.

I actually think that's just a part of her character.  She stands up to Shep about the geth/quarian war in ME1, even when it was more in character then for her to back down as she was out of her comfort zone.  She is a very strong person, and isn't afraid to speak up to protect that.  Just because they're admirals doesn't mean she's going to let them talk like that ^_^

Yeah, that's exactly what he wouldn't do.  The less attention he has from the one person in the galaxy willing to hunt him down, the better.  I really don't know where the whole characterization of TIM as a curly mustached villain tying women to railroad tracks came from :?

Paragon would try to convince both parties that they can live in harmony with eachother.

Which the true geth believes.

It's the quarians who needs a new point of view instead of believing that the destruction/conquering of the geth is the right thing to do..
