Sipping tea is a great dramatic point in the rhythm of conversation.

That's the part that sucks.

Could still have them sip it, I imagine they would use a straw of some sort.  Could even have Tali explain to Shala that thats how its supposed to be done, since she would have learned that from Shep by now

While I don't know the specifics, I believe its Ascension that mentions that the suits allow them to drink in the same way that they can eat nutrient paste without removing the suits.

Hmm... Now I'm imagining this strange, hookah-esque device used for brewing and drinking tea that interfaces with the feeding tubes of the helmets.

Thats okay Earthborne Shep  should have some kind of the Military Parental Figure like Anderson or Chakwas. I took a step further sense my Shepherd is a Vanguard he as an  Biotics  Master that he sees a parent.   The Sensei/Student is always a close one

Sorry, a little too human-like.

I envision quarians to have a rather narrow face, judging on how bulbous the Tali helmet was in that one Epic Mass Effect Cosplay recently.

And although I bet they have (or had) head hair or some analog, I doubt they let it grow beyond a peach fuzz to keep cleanliness inside the suit.  Easier to scrub a bare scalp with cleaning stuff than to shampoo hair (or feathers or.. whatever).

Sorry guys, odds are Tali's bald under the helmet, if only out of necessity of cleanliness.

I imagine the nutrient paste/drink is fed into a chamber that then isolates and decontaminates from the outside environment before being processed to the mouth.  Educated guess at least

Assuming that's a plain clothes outfit, which it looks like.  Tali's taste in fashion is awesome
