Not exactly related to the quarians, but figure isn't everything. I've met quite a lot of women with... dynamic figures, but  some of them were absolute bores. They were as dull as a plank and were just as thick.

That, to me, is a very sudden turn-off.

Maybe the reason why Quarians are looked down upon is because, despite their beauty, they're relatively unapproachable. Think about it, with all the effort to pairbond before you even get to see his/her face, most of us more impulsive and self-centered species just say fuggit and go with an Asari.

Damn... sorry to hear that... look... you seem like a nice girl... my shift gets over with in an hour, you wanna wait here and maybe we can get something to eat? I know this place that serves sterilized turian sea food. You know... to kinda make up for this bing misunderstanding. So... tell me about this Pilgrimage thing..."

That is how that quest SHOULD have ended.
