I actually do get that rush on Haestrom. What with her wishing that Shepard was there, the hopelessness of the whole situation, and the final battle with the Colossus, it's all very natural to go with the Tali romance.

Even during her loyalty mission, you still get the rush with her. I do anyway.

 

On her Loyalty mission  I get some what of different feeling its mix of protectiveness, regret,  and anger,   
The protectiveness and anger come from the position that both her father and the Board put her in- ****s.  The regret comes  from I know that no matter she is going to be hurt by what we find on the  Aleri. The Truth that her father but her and the fleet in danger, that retaking the Homeworld  may be a pipe dream.     My Shephard is an Earthborn so he had no family or home. His Family is the Crew and his Home is Normandy and he is happy with  just those.  So in way he understand Tali and empathies with  her  but he know  that Home is more than a world.  

Thats why I really like the Paragon responses, yes she gets angry and thats okay. Because its a Shephard trying to put some perspective  on what is going on.

I'm sorry...whenever I see Miranda and her ass walk in a room, I have to wonder...skidmarks. Gotta wonder about all skintight, asscrack invading uniforms, though.

Joshua N. Shepard has had the same Carnifex since Akuze, which he took off of a friend and used to make it back to the LZ. He kept it until after the battle of the Citadel, when he gave it to Tali as a gift for completing her pilgrimage, and as an early going away present. He got it back on Haestrom as a gift from Tali. As long as he's had it, every morning before getting out of bed, Sheaprd held the gun to his head, and asked himself how he could justify living when nobody else did. Even Toombs is gone. He's nearly pulled the trigger several times.

After his night with Tali, he doesn't put the gun to his head anymore when he wakes up, as he has her to wake up to now. /images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png

Anyone else have a "Gun" they identify with or have a story behind?

I was under the impression the majority of his equipment was lost over Alchera.

My very thought on my first game; "Well damn it. Now I have even more of an incentive not to fail. I'm on my way."

Few fictional romances ever melt me like this one did.

 

Well after that point the Geth did not stand a chance, they had no choice but to die.   When she said that  my exact thought   "Don't worry  gurl, I'm on my way."    

Never had so much playing  Vanguard EVER, that class is made to make you feel bad ass during the mission.

Then threaten to shoot your kneecaps off if you ever picked on his student again.

Oh... you other classes have to run to the collossus through a thick battlefield?  Tali's not quite as impressed... 

She loved the infiltrator's classic Widow snipe for the Colossus...You don't need a ballz out sledgehammer when a needle will do.

What if your sledgehammer pops all the other geth around it?

I loved Mordin too. His writer also wrote Tali. So I'm not surprised I love both.

Hale Shepard treats guns like tools. He doesn't get too attached to them, because you'll usually find something better. People, on the other hand, they tend to get better the longer you have them.

Your story reminds me of Soap McTavish of Modern Warfare.

I don't typically romanticize my firearmes, but Clementine will always have a special place in my heart.

Really? Cause my class lets me sneak up being the Colossus like a mother-[lovin'] ninja and administer a sniper-bullet enema. With Incendiary Ammo.
