Nerve stimulaters? Yes that is all well and good for our lovely Quarian. But that does nothing for ourselves(Shepard). So at most Shepard will settle for assisted masturbation but that won't take the edge off that won't satisfy. Which would you rather have an appetizer or a three course meal?
Always assumed nerve stimulators were were a two way street, letting both people in on the fun.

I'm not so sure Rip. Something has to be inserted. And I don't see any holes on that suit. Seeing as how is was designed to not have holes.
You're thinking conventionally. Nerve stimulators could be based on Asari physiology, basically works by sending pleasure directly into your nerves similar what would happen when melding with an asari though touch. Same basic principle.

Even so, being together wouldn't be nearly as rare of a thing as you make it out to be. It just means that they will make the most out of their time together. Shep knew about all of this going into the relationship, its a non-issue. If having Tali out of her suit once every week or two, and having her in her suit the rest of the time isn't good enough, then that Shep has plenty of other option on the ship.

Well, now that I am thinking of it, they could do just as the name suggests: Stimulate Nerves. By producing an electrical charge that mimics a synaptic discharge, the stimulators could make the mind believe that its being touched. Then it could mimic a whole range of... situations.

A week might be a little short. I see her exposure time only being limited by how long it takes her body to recover from the accompanying fever and cold.

Pretty much this.
This is the explanation I roll with.

If we went with that idea, Shepard could get the same experience by somehow tapping into her suit. Tali would just have an "Output" area or cord on her suit.

"And that is why this is so amazing to me, Shepard." Tali found herself saying, the words seemingly unbidden. "Sealed behind a layer of fabric, a layer of glass, I have watched the world undergo things I will probably never experience myself. I have watched people eating food, solid food, picked straight from the plant that grew it. I have watched the rain fall upon people's heads, amazed that they would hate it. How I wish I could feel that rain, just once! I have watched for so long... And then I met you, the first person I have ever met that took the time to watch me. You saw the fabric, the glass, but you understood that there was something beneath it. And you pursued it! It's hard being with any quarian, much less while your protecting the galaxy, but you did it. Keelah, Shepard, you did it." As her short, unexpected monologue ended, Tali began pushing him back towards the bed.

Didn't one Quarian on Illium seem about ready to use her nerve stimulators in public? Is it that subtle?
Ah yes; VGQ.
Guess it depends on how quiet she can be.

Asari can have sex just by touch. Assuming that, the suit could effectively act like Asari skin. Tali turns on the stimulator, and when she touches Shepard, or they at least get close, it affects his nerve endings.RedTracer7 wrote...

On a scale of one to ten, I give this an A.

I don't think she was using it, but it wouldn't neccessarily being obvious if she was. The actual 'stimulation' would be on a molecular level. The only way to tell would be that quarian's reactions.
I think it would be pretty obvious if a quarian started twitching/moaning involuntarily.

Wasn't that whole thing just a mass ridiculing of people who wanted Tali/Garrus romances between ME1 and ME2?

And she's also either a little dense or is actively ignoring some advances so obvious that even I couldn't miss them.

I've always thought of her Omnitool controlling the stimulators, along with her other biometric data/mechanisms.
