What would you rather see?

1) A colony of pre-morning war quarians still in existance.
2) An old ship wreck containing pre-morning war geth that never uplinked before the revolt.

By 1, do you mean like those old asian guys who lived in a bunker for like fifty years, because they thought WWII was still going on?

Sure.

That would be pretty much a breakthrough for the rest of the quarians too, if they discovered a colony which immune system has not been affected by the sterile enviroment onboard space ships.

Top.

I mean more like a colony ship's computers were disabled upon entering the planet's orbit and were unable to send or recieve information. So it went dark and all knowledge of the expedition was lost. They'd have no idea about the geth uprising nor the migrant fleet.

And are you serious about the bunker thing?

Shepard: Yeah, I know, remember when you told me you were cold on Noveria? We could tell...

And I'm also gonna go for #1, as long as BioWare shows us sum' o' them suitless quarians. (No more crazy-ass fanart, hurrah!)

That wouldn't stop the geth, though. If there was even a slightest hint of that colony in any record, the geth would most certainly rain down upon them.

And I'm not so sure about the specific details about the bunker story, but something like that. They hid somewhere for decades, because they thought the war was still going on.

Earthborn was an orphan in a gang. Not quite the stuff of family getting slaughtered by slavers...But you can't be calling a past like that pansy worthy.

Bu- bu-, MY PARENTS ARE DEEEAAad... :crying:

Besides, sure, it's impressive to work your way up from the slums to become a marine, but then again, he was simply recruited.
Colonist Shepard somehow managed to survive long enough during a slaver attack without formal military training for the Alliance patrol to get there, then proceeds to join the military, just so it won't happen again.

But yeah, the only real pansy is Spacer Shep, even if it provides a nice background when compared to Tali. =]

Now, to get Andaius his Morinth Commando Leathers for his FemShep...

My parents didn't love meeeee and abandoned meeee...Yeah, that actually goes along with the spacer appeal to Tali, considering her father...

At least we Spacers potentially get to have some "Meet The Parents" hilarity in ME3...  Jealous, are you?:P

It would indeed be nice if we could meet Shepard's mom, because I was not so happy about that e-mail from her. Enough of that. It would be even better if Tali could throw in a line or two in that meeting.

What would be hilarious, is if BioWare decided to release paid DLC for ME2 of which the sole purpose is turning the camera around during the romance scene with Tali. (And obviously adding an actual face in there, rather than a second mask)

Also, I think this isn't the last we'll see from Lia.
I presume we'll encounter her in ME3 in some sort of situation, either she's completed her pilgrimage in some way and has a way to help you on your mission, she's in trouble again, or you'll find her dead.
Say, the first is her giving you data, like Tali in ME1, when you haven't helped her in ME2, she'll charge you for it, otherwise, it's free.
The second could be an N7 mission of her being captured/attacked, it'll play out roughly the same, the only difference being that you'll get some extra dialogue if you helped her in ME2. (Like Dantius)
And her being found dead (cause of death is up to how dark that little dark blob of darkness in the darkest corner of your mind is), mainly as a prop, and you having some additional dialogue if you helped her, saying you knew her.

I always imagined that we meet Lia and Kenn (if you spring for his ticket outta that hellhole) in ME3 and they're hitching up to finish their pilgrimage together.

Can't the quarians catch a break in ME3?

I think enough of them died or were racially discriminated in ME2.

No, we haven't personally encountered stuff along the lines of Reckoning chapter 5/6 yet, that needs to change.

I think it's enough. Overdo that image of the quarians being treated like second class citizens or worse, and it will lose its effect. Which it has for me.

I get the picture.

What do you guys think on how Tali will be a squadmate in ME3, combat wise? I'd like to see the Drone again, plus, I think she should be able to do this:

Y'know what I would love?

If she had a power, like a hologram to distract the enemy or something.

That'd be awesome. ^_^

As quarians go, I personally find Xen way more interesting then Tali, and hope she gets a much bigger role in ME3... maybe even as the de facto quarian? we can hope...

I don't mind tali. but she's just a girl, and Xen... Xen is a character.

You mean like how a combat drone distracts them?

wrote up some cool new ideas for powers in the ME3 wishlist, two for each spec.  Maybe Tali could get one of them.

No, I mean as in:

Say Tali was in cover, she could place a hologram of herself where she is, and then flank the enemy who still thinks that the hologram is her.

See what I mean?

Or if she could invert her enemies' shields into a disruptor of some kind, like an EMP, which damages all shields within a certain radius, and/or overloads their weapons.

Turning a Blue Sun into a walking tech bomb.

I think Reach will have a power like that for Spartans. I'm not sure if the AI would be good enough to capitolise on the distraction though.

Or you could send Chiktikka to harass them and flank them too.

I'm still seeing this "hologram" as redundant.

We have "Hmmm... she's glowing like a holoprojection... okay, distraction" versus "AAAAUGH!!! THIS BALL OF LIGHT IS ELECTROCUTING MEEEEE!!!!"

I'm sure it's been brought up a-plenty...

For those who love music, anyone else get the adrenaline going with Tali's music? I do, but with anyone elses music it's like...Eh.

The only other song that gets the adrenaline going is the suicide theme when you're busting through the Collector Base. I dunno, Tali's music just spurns some emotion that I rarely find in other music.

Not necessarily agreeing with you on the whole Xen's a better character bit, but I definitely hope she'll get a bigger role in ME3.

Also, since you like Daro, have you read Rip 'n Liv's Reckoning yet?

The composer of her music is truly a genius. The assault against the Colossus on Haestrom wouldn't have been what it was without that music.

I would like to come out and say it right now. Tali turns me on.

Hows that for being random, at least I got it off my chest.
