And in ME3, I want kinetic barriers to behave like they should. For example. Kinetic barriers are designed to activate and deflect bullets/projectiles traveling at a certain speed, yet in ME2, it takes damage when the guy who's wearing it is punched.

Man I wish they would just give me hand to hand combat options, Tali should use the knife, Thane should have some slick ass martial arts  and Shephard  should  have some kind of  Alliance Marine hand to hand combat training(Krav Marga would nice)  esp if you play  Vanguard.

Vanguard melee?

Biotic fists..

Oh  yes  Biotic Fist, with  Vangaurd Shephard using a variation of Muay Thai Kickboxing...  EPIC ASS WHOOPING COMMENCE... Tali using a a variant of Apache Knife fighting

The ability to dodge or roll to the side would be most appreciated as well. Feels like I'm taking unnecessary damage when I'm running for cover, simply because Shepard can't roll, which he should considering that he's gone through a military training program which is supposed to train elite soldiers.

At least be able to slide into cover. Can't tell you how many people in a match straight run for cover. Kinda funny, but they usually get shot first.

Depends...ever gear up in full combat gear and sprint? Wears you out a little faster than spandex and light shoes.

Then again, he can't even sprint for 5 seconds, it's more like 3.

Yeah, it'd be nice to be able to sprint for at least 10 seconds. And combat roll, duck, slide, all that fun stuff.

What I would give to be able to strafe-dive out of the way when facing a Praetorian or Scion...

BioWare took Straight Up Shooter to literally when they hosed the combat system in ME2.

But Tali is still adorable!

Anyhoo, anyone else here have opinions on the other ME3 New Powers ideas I wrote up on the wishlist?

They're kindasorta on topic here, the Cyclonic Deflection biotic power is based on Tali's shield upgrade fluff text.  Yeah.  :?

You mean Gears of Effect  2  <_<

I still expect Garrus to say  "Boom Head shot."

Yes Tali is Adorable

But  Tali  slickly disarming a merc before stabbing him in the neck is down sexy.

Yep.

And she should be able to kick/stab/punch someone if they're too close. Would save me a lot of trouble.

CQC moves would be awesome. And, I know I'm reaching a very long way here, but freeform combat would be totally awesome.

Also, gentlemen, can anybody get a me a high res texture of the purple swirlies on Tali's suit? I have a friend who can get me custom fabric made, and I really want some of that. The higher resolution, the better.

You just know Grunt tried to "test" Tali when she first got on the Normandy.

One death-glare from her made that krogan back off.
