I dunno, Earthborn just resonates better. In relation to Tali, not having the love of parents, yet having the support of others, would probably go over better than MY PARENTS ARE DEEEEAAAaaaad.

"Hey, that one's the right shape!" Finch laughed, pointing out one that was obviously female.
"Yeah," Shepard replied, appreciatively, “look at those legs. Damn.” He’d been almost desperate to talk about it, but it was too weird to say to just anyone. Maybe Finch wasn't so bad.
