Considering my favorite game series on console is Metal Gear, I'm going with ninja. Nothing against pirates, but I'll always prefer stealth...

Sole Survivor is to wangsty for me. Done well, it can be cool. But it is just not for my Male Shepards. My Femshep, however, is Earthborn/Sole Survivor. Unsurprisingly, she is with Garrus now. My Colonist/War Hero is my Male Shep that romances Tali (no previous love interest). My Spacer/War Hero is still staying strong with Ashley.

I think Tali's a pirate. She can get anything working, using whatever materials available. Pirates work with what they can scavange.

But she's a pirate only in that regard. She's too selfless to start hoarding swag.

Space Cowboys are awesome. I.E. the Terran. 

I always pictured colony Sheps as space cowboys.

What about Tali?

Tali exhibits pirate tendencies, like what Mobius mentioned.  She also has a propensity for busting out surprise attacks out of the blue while in plain sight, like how pirates suddenly produce a pistol out of their hidden brace to shoot the scurvy lout in the head.

Shepard is always nearby with Unity on hand too, so Tali would not die if she got ninja'd.  And f the ninja didn't die from Tali's retaliation, Shepard's overreactive response would ensure that it did.

We ninja would just poison your rum and move along. Yes the harmless kitchen worker the you pushed around so much is the instrument of  your doom. 

Sadly we can not have this debate in the Tali thread.. because the Thread  ****s are around.   .. .shall we save this for another day when I can better relate to Tali.

Comparing anyone to Legion is unfair, he's far away number 1 I would assume.  Her and Mordin are both geniuses, but I think Tali would probably beat him out unless the subject was genetics and related sciences.

Engineering? Unmatched. 

Street smarts? Garrus and or Shepard would out do her.

Definitely in the top 3. I'd say Legion is ahead of her if you're just measuring book-smarts. It's difficult to compare her to Mordin since they deal in separate fields of science.

Tech wise she would be the smartest (not including Legion because well, he IS a machine)

But overall I think Mordin is the smartest person on the Normandy, so Tali would come up in second place.
