Tali smiled underneath her visor. It certainly sounded like the Flotilla, individuals working together for the betterment of all.

Growing up with people around you, but you're still alone. In poverty, the entire world against you. Having to rise above that. Then, Sole Survivor. Tali watching her team getting wiped out. Twice. Can sympathize with that...

Colonist here, and have a story to tell. (note this is based on my Shepard...like the rest) 'John' is my Shep's mid-name.

*Tali awoke reaching over tiredly she felt the other side of the bed  empty with worry she jumped up form the bed. Finding  Shephard standing with his back to her  staring out in the star filled void of space. *  

Tali:  Nate whats wrong?  

Shpehard: Hmm oh nothing  *he was fiddling with the heat sink around his neck again. Something he always did when something bothering him.*    

Tali: Your lying you messing with the heat sink around your neck again, you always do that when  something is bothering you.  Why do you keep that old thing away.    

*Tali winced as he brown eyes hardened some * 

Shephard: A reminder... 

Tali:  Reminder of what Nathaniel?(my Shephard name)

Shephard:  Let go  Tali, its not important..

Tali:  Why not, why won't you talk to me. Every time you get upset you just  bottle up. You get this look in your eyes,what are  you keeping from me.  

Shephard: You don't want to know  Tali, just let it go please.  

Tali: Damn you Bosh'tet I'm not going to let it...  

Shephard: I killed a kid, Tali okay. You want to know so damn bad I shot a little girl.     

*Tali sat in  shocked silence his fist wrapping around the heatt sink*  

Shephard: I was when I was back on Earth. Growing I ran with a street gang, we did bad things Tali. Things that I'm not proud of, I'm not  the saint everyone wants me to be...its all just lie.   This heat sink,  fired  the  shots the killed my first two people.  There was  showdown with a rival gang over territory, selling grounds for Red Sand and  ****s.  It was my first gun fight, I was only  17.   Most of the  fight I used my biotics, I was untrained but good enough then  this one  thug caught me off guard killed one of my  friends.  I chased him for blocks he was running into a crowded area... I start  firing  wildly , most of shots missed. Two hit, one hit him in the head, the other her a poor little slums girl in the chest. She had  no family, no one called the police.  Nobody  cared. I held  her Tali as she bleed out. She didn't cry, scream our shout.   That little girl had the prettiest blue eyes and I held her as the life them.  I popped the heat sink  from the pistol and ran.  The next day i was on alliance transport.    

*Tali listened to his story, she  could hear the hatred in his voice, hatred directed only towards himself it broke her heart to see him like this.*   

Tali:  Shephard,  you have to let it go... 

Shephard: HOW?, How can I?  have you ever held a dying kid in arms, their blood  on you hands, their dead eyes looking back up  you.   How can I make up for it? There is nothing I can do to make up for it. She died for nothing... 

Tali:  But you have, you changed,  you  join the Alliance, you became a  Specter. You  have  save so many more lives than  you have taken.  She didn't die in vain, here death  made you change.  I'm sure where ever she is, she has forgiven you.    

Shephard: Thats nice thought but we know its a lie.  Maybe I'm no good for you, you'd would be better off with  someone like  Reagar... 

*Tali fist clenched as she got of  the bed. She marched over to  Shephard.  The sound of  her palm striking his face. Shephard stood there in shock as she stood  shaking*  

Tali: Was it Reagar  that saved me in the alley behind Cora's Den? No, that was you. What is Reagar that found me on Freedoms Progress and held off a Ymir? No that was you.  Was it  Reagar that took on a Geth  Colossus on Haelstorm? No it was you. What is Reagar who knew  my father  committed a crime and could clear my name stood  by  kept his promise not ruin my fathers name? NO that was YOU!.  It  has always been you, it always will be you.  Yes you have done some terrible things we have all in some way.    

*Tali reached up and touch his cheek*  

Tali: You hate the darkness that you have in you, you hate it and fight to over come it.  That will always be enough for  me.  I don't want a Hero , or a Saint, or a Savoir. All I want  is you. You and only you will always be enough. <3

Uh, accept it? Would be insulting not to. 

If the person is fully capable of being an effective crew member, than he/she is useful. Besides, with Shepard & Tali, I'm sure quarianmance has rubbed off on some of the crew.

Agreed with accepting it, as long as the person can carry their own weight.  It isn't like they have to be Tali level badass, just helping out in engineering is enough. 

The inevitable shipping between this quarian (I'm assuming female,) and Garrus is just an added bonus, double dates

That wouldn't go well, methinks. Same type of germs + chaffing doesn't bode well for quarians.

 not to mention they can cacth turian diseases unlike tali catching any human disease. But Garrus will find a way!

I see the same germ problem balanced out by the same foods being edible personally.  Though the thought of the quarians sensitive skin with a turian is more of a concern.  This is only a half baked ship though, they could work through those things if they really cared about each other <3

Besides, I thought the concensus was that every good person deserved a quarian to care about them

I have a question is the Vas Paus realy a ship in a quarians kid show i just think that would be awsome considering how lame kids shows are now! and is there any real proof behind this or just a EPICLY AWSOME plot device !?
