Ditto. To be honest, there is a gaping hole in his "body," if you will, with zero affect on functionality.

FFnet is full of stuff like that. Reclamation is particularly good.Snazzy Penguin wrote...
Much thanks.
And with that, I contribute with a prompt for all you writers/Talimancers out there: Post War with Reapers - Shep/Tali (Doesn't need to be all complex, just where you see them after the epic conclusion to this ME trillogy)

Indeed. I frequent FFnet daily and do like a majority of the Shep/Tali stories on there.

Which guns are those again?
Phalanx pistol.

My take: Given that Rannoch and a majority of the Quarian fleet made it through the war and that there is a co-existence with the Geth, Shepard and Tali become officially bonded and live out their lives in a newly built house on Rannoch. Likewise, Shepard is appointed the Human Ambassador to the Quarians, given his history with the fleet and Tali is promoted to the Admiralty Board, given her history of saving the galaxy numerous times along with Shepard and crew.

TwiceUponAStar's required reading for Tali/Shep (with a twist):
On the Liberating Effects of Alcohol
Beneath the Veil
Sensations
Have you read any of those?

Mine is pretty similar, though in my version, Tali/Shep turn down those positions. There are people better suited to play the every day political game, their place is together on Rannoch in a secluded beach house. Though they still have the Normandy close by to deter any potential invaders, as well as help the quarians out with whatever help they need in the reclamation process. Tali has by now added the ability to dock without assistance.
I hadn't considered human ambassador to the quarians though, I like that position for Shep. Assuming it doesn't interfere with his personal life. My Shep has a beautiful wife and two adopted kids to take care of.

I think the technically martial government would be disbanded in favor for a government with a civilian at the top should they get Rannoch back.

Quarian government once they're back on Rannoch does interest me. I can't see them rapidly changing their political structure immediately, simply because that would just further complicate the already difficult reclamation process. I anticipate them keeping the martial law system in place for the immediate future, before that eventually gives way to a more standard set up. When? Depends on how fast the quarians can return to normal life on Rannoch.
I don't have the details memorized on the Conclave, but maybe that takes a more centralized role, with the admirality board either losing power or being disbanded completely.

Good point. In thinking about it, considering how Democratic the Quarians are, I'd assume that they'd set up a type of republican (the system of govenrment, not political party for those who may be confused) government on their homeworld following their return. Though at the begining it'd probably be some type of transitional government to adapt to their new environment on Rannoch.MadCat221 wrote...

I love her...
That was the last thoughts of Shepard as he drifted into the space around Alchera. His lungs burned as they screamed for oxygen. He was so close to telling her how he felt. All he wanted was five more minutes. Just five minutes to tell his engineer just how much she meant to him. After all he’s been through: Mindoir, the Blitz. After all he’s done: Savior of Eden Prime, Feros, the Rachni, and the Citadel. Didn’t he deserve just more five minutes?

Is it just me, or does Tali's in-combat banter kinda seem flat? She has so much wonderful stuff in convos, and then it's just kinda "meh" in a fight. The only time I've heard her raise her voice in combat is when there's friendly fire incidents.
