Alright, so I finally got around to playing the Overlord DLC, I was told there was extra Tali stuffz. I could not find it.

What did I do wrong?

There is only a line where Archer acknowledges Legion. And that is about it.

Sorry :(

Where'd you heard that from?
There is extra Legion stuff (comments from the head scientist about him being safe or not), but Tali? I don't think so...

Alright, off to go fix me some Tali-related combat in ME. Bioware better fix the DLC problem before I change my thought on purchasing the Firepower pack.

Dude, don't link to TVtropes without a warning!

(Also I like how nearly every LI has a variation of YMMV on the Mass Effect character sheet)

Basically you should get the firepower DLC because it makes Tali absurdly powerful again.

Military Weapons: Hahne-Kedar

From that link:"Earth-based Hahne-Kedar has become a major supplier to the Systems Alliance military". Systems Alliance, not Citadel Space. Try again.

Armor: Rosenkov Materials (Noted as the PREMIER armor manufacturer in Council Space)

I will grant you this.

Kass Fabrication: Maker of Colossus Armor

From the wiki: "A human-controlled private company". This does not indicate that this originated as a human company, simply that it is currently human controlled. Could be argued either way.

Energy and Heavy Manufactering: Eldfell-Ashland

Mentioned in the codex, but not mentioned how it compares to other companies. This doesn't prove your argument - it seems (from reading the article) that is referenced more because it is used as a bit of background information in the novels, not for its importance in the galaxy.

Colonial Expansion/R&D: ExoGeni  (Only Corporation so far large enough to have their OWN security division)

Article doesn't have comparisons to other corporations for size/importance comparison. Also, you didn't note the entire bit from 'trivia':"ExoGeni is the only corporation seen in the Mass Effect universe that does not employ mercs for protection and has its own security service "ExoGeni Security." The ExoGeni Security employees are only seen in the bunker on Feros with Ethan Jeong, Juliana Bayhem, and the refugees. Whether or not other corporations have their own private security is unknown and yet to be seen.

All are human.  All are the leaders/as good as the alien firms in their division.

All are human controlled at least. Only One is actually noted in the codex as being the leader in its field and confirmed to be a human only company. The other is open to debate if it was initially a human company. (could be argued either way).

Your evidence is lacking.

Of course your going to have crackpots come out of the woodwork, as humanity rises.  Its called Conservative Politics, and the Turians have been noted as being especially conservative.  As long as the resentment pops up slowly, we can deal with it.  Smash it down.

We can only speculate on how bad it actually is. Bailey implies that it is wide spread - that Talid is just the most visible example of the tensions. However, I garnered from what he was saying that it is anything but slow. And, depending no how you resolve the Talid situation, it could have even further negative ramifications for humans (not that I believe they will actually take that into account.......)

I still find the human corporations to be very debatable, especially when you have no proof that alien tech is better than humanity's (except the Armani Council and their Amps, which I have already conceded).

Anyway.... perhaps another time.

EDIT: Double post WTF!

Someone wanted some Tali and Thane interaction earlier and I think I may be able to get a somewhat readable story out by the end of the day or tomorrow.

No it isn't a ship. It's just a very confused and heartbroken Tali curious about why her Commander (It's about my canon Femshep who is a colonist/sole survivor, who was romancing Kaidan before he died on Virmire) went into a relationship that will possibly end in another heartbreak. Also because I just want Tali to be concerned big sister for once :)

Yes, humanity would end up "demoted". Why? For galactic unity. Batarians, from what I understand, are one of the most powerful races, and the driving force of the Terminus systems. I would like to see humanity step down, willingly, so that they non-council races can actually influence galactic politics.

The suggestion of such a policy should be great for Cerberus.  That fine organization would have donors and recruits lined up.  And rightly so.

The Batarians?  Oh good grief.

Cerberus and Admiral Xen, protect us!

Hello everyone, I'm just another Talimancer / Supporter for Talimance in ME3 (Oh crap, not another one! :P). I'm new to this thread though, but I decided maybe I should give a new topic that I mentioned before in a group but not too many people responded to for some reason, maybe I'll have better luck here.

So, I was thinking a while back that the reason Bioware decided not to show Tali'Zorah's face in ME2 were not entirely for reasons of cutting down development time (or laziness, however the fanbase wants to put it), I thought that what is most likely is that Bioware included Tali to be in the sequel as a recruitable character and a love interest as a gift to her massive following, and by doing so absolutly KNOWING that Talimancers and just plain Mass Effect Fans would love to know what her face looks like and see it. Now, Bioware is pretty darn good at spinning a yarn, however the player wants it to be spinned, that and they have never, as far as my knowledge of them goes, let their fanbase down for anything that is wildly popular in their games (like HK-47 in KotOR, and of course ME's Tali) getting to the point of this subject; any good businessman / entertainer with even half an education in good salesmanship / showmanship knows that if a large group of any given buyer, spectator, conoscere, fan, ect. loves any one thing about their product or work, they will give it to them and give it more abundantly so as to not dissapoint or even lose an important segment in their following (i.e. the fact that Tali came back as a party member and love interest) but, they also know when to reserve certain things about what the people love for later so that they have something good to give them later on down the road (i.e. the fact that Tali's romance scene did not show her face, leaving many to suspect and hope for a face reveal in the third and final Mass Effect in the trilogy)

Sorry the subject was so long, but tell me what you think!

Welcome, MS-06 Zaku II !

You make some good points, and I certainly hope you're correct. It seems like good business to keep Tali as a squadmate and LI.

But you mention HK-47. In my opinion, the KOTOR version of HK-47 was far, far superior to the one in KOTOR II. I hope they don't follow that path with Tali.

HK-47 was the same character that he was in KOTOR and that was my main problem with him. He literally never developed at all (but I guess he can't)

So I don't see that problem happening with Tali.

Sorry the subject was so long, but tell me what you think!

The fact that the scene from ME2 was the defining moment in their relationship demanded that her face be shown to the player as in the game you are Shepard.  Any future showing of her face will be anticlimatic and IMHO ill conceived.  Even if they show them on Rannoch at the end with a slowly setting sun, seeing her face then should have been there she is again and not 'Well, would you look at that? Those idiots finally show us.'
