You know, I was thinking about how to do a fantasy conversion for Tali/quarians. Again, I do so very love to twist things around.

The gypsy thing is obvious, but the no-immune-system thing doesn't translate well to fantasy tropes.

So here's what I was thinking: quarians would be like fae, whose presence in the world is disrupted by logic and civilization. They used to be more common, but now they get fewer because civilization keeps spreading. They wear masks because looking on them damages them because by looking you're trying to impose order on what you see.

So...

Essentially...

Sex with fantasy Shepard is more or less killing her, or disfiguring her?

Not cool.

It's not so much killing/disfiguring.  It's a metaphysical thing.  Like fae legends here:  cold iron, as a symbol of civilization, is anathema to fae.  Or, as more of the land becomes populated, there's nowhere for the old legends to hide.

And of course, if one slowly became attuned to a fantasy quarian over time, they could accept what they saw and not try to force it to conform to consensus reality or however one wanted to explain it.  Thus, the fantasy Talimance.

Again, trying to play it into fantasy tropes.

So, I suppose I'm the only one here who didn't find any of the NPC quarians' voices sexy? (Well, MAYBE Reeger. But that's only because of Firefly...)

But...but...Claudia Black as Daro'Xen
I'm not complaining about Shala or Lia Viael either :?

Shala sounds way too old, sorry, complete grandma vibe. Likewise, Lia sounds way too young, similar to Tali in ME1.  As someone who has never - and will never - played Dragon Age, I have no fixation with Claudia Black, so meh, don't care.  Reegar sounds and acts just like John Casey from Chuck, its pretty re-god-damn-diculous.  It's like Baldwin got off the Chuck set and went to record the voice.  Not that there's anything wrong with that, I love Baldwin and I love Reegar.  Just saying.

Shoot someone in the kneecaps. Apologize to them. Yeah. That makes it feel better.

Whether or not he felt sorry is a non issue. Korris is a slimy little worm, a spineless waste of refuse who laeks even the backbone to actually stand up for what he believes in, what he believes in not extending past blatant cowardice and weakness. He's a polititian, pure and true.

I HATE politicians.

I pity politicians, want to know why?

Because they have to represent our dumbasses. You take an average man on the streets and multiply him by 300 million and now you see what those poor bastards have to deal with.

You know I never really looked at from the  POV. When you do yeah... I can pity them too

or the magic that creates them is also slowly killing them as well, or they are made from the  dark magic so   light is harmful to them.

OHO!  Good exile analogue.

If we're asking questions that have no logical answer then I have one.
How does ReneShep (FailShep, am i right?) manage to spitfully let the council die and have it replaced with an all human council without the other three council races not even making a fuss?
If I was them I'd have humanity kicked out of the citadel so fast our species heads would spin.

Fleet. Humanity's is bigger.

Humanity has a large fleet but remember that most of the turian, asari and salarian military is not stationed at the citadel. I'd wager to bet that only a small fraction of their total fleet is stationed there at one time. The rest of it is easily enough to wipe humanity off the face of the galaxy.

I wanna see what direction it takes...

My guess is that they will have a pretty passive role, if ME3 is all about big wars.

I understand your viewpoint on Shala (I'd romance Chakwas, so that might explain a few things).  As for Claudia Black...1) Dragon Age is ****ing awesome, 2) that's not the only thing she's done.

ME codex  already stated that Turians would have more problems with  Humans in war than most think  base off a tactics.    We hit behind enemy lines cut supplies routes and go  for the whole  wither on the vine strategy.  Plus most fear the Alliance  industrial machine as well.
