For my age (just fresh outta high school) I am pretty outnumbered in my tastes, for some reason I usually link the innocence and at other times jauntyness of songs by artists like Bing Crosby or Billie Holiday like "Someone to Watch Over Me", "Bei Mir Bist Du Shoen", "I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time", and "Pennies From Heaven" from the time period of the late 30's to the early 60's truly embodies those same qualities that Tali'Zorah has. So what do you think? Hope I brought up something good to talk about

To Andaius20: I suppose I mean for Tali's personality specifically, doesn't have to be the words that fit but the pure feeling and tone of the song, all the song's I chose on my list are old love songs that are kind of generic in meaning, but the choice of words, the tone, and the way it all flows is what really gets me goin'. You still blew up me battleship and stole me booty with Kasumi! (or at least I think it was you...) YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF ME!!!



To NuclearBuddha: I didn't know you had a blog post on that, have to check it out! I see you're the kind of guy who truly understands the art of taking words to one thing, and applying them flawlessly to an interpretation of another, very nice allusion to Tali's freedom of her old life and the entrance of a new one!



To Calinstel: Big sounds from ballads and orchestral music are often the best and only way to truly convey something through music I say, like our little debate on my whole Star Wars analogy to Tali's evolving and ever interesting character , if it wasn't for John Williams, unfortunatly I would think the entire saga would not be nearly as interesting and gripping. And speaking of slavic music, I love the Red Army Choir's version of "Katyusha", fits Tali'Zorah perfectly!

Disagreed.  The thread always goes in cycles, depending on who is doing the majority of the posting at the time.  This crusading for good is all make believe.  People will talk about what they want, and creating an off topic discussion to try and mold the thread to your preferences does not help anything.  The less off topicness is because of the constant warnings from mods along with the people posting here.  Trolls have stopped because there are less people around now to troll, and this thread is a lot harder to troll now.

And why is it? Because instead of indulging the trolls as we once did, we are more likely to simply ignore them and just report them. Part of this is because we encouraged each other simply to ignore and report.
And why did the mods take notice? Because the off-topic posts were reported. No mod is watching the thread page by page. People were reporting off-topic posts that went on for pages. And then the thread became progressively less and less off-topic.

Its all opinion.  Some people would rather talk about the stuff that you don't like in place of the Morning War for the hundredth time.  My whole point, is that both people can have what they want.  There is no need to purge disapproved topics from the thread.  You have the cognitive ability to not read what you don't want.  I skip over posts I don't want to see and let those people be, and the thread would run a lot better if everyone did the same with stuff that they didn't care to see.

Unfortunately it's not as simple as that. If it were, then this would be a non-issue, because people would be able to preemptively avoid certain posts. I cannot predict what the contents of each post will be, and I and most people read far too fast.

Like others, I don't actually expect any dialog. I would prefer that they did have some, but given the track record of all of the previous DLCs, I certainly don't expect it. I may say though, considering Garrus & Tali were from ME1, that they could have the greatest chance for extra lines. I mean, it would be jarring, lore wise, to see them silent as Shepard helps out Liara.
