Personal opinion on romance scenes...
Whoever voted for Garrus and Tali, is either dense, emotionless, or only cares about boobs and butts. Seriously, if you are not touched by how hard they tried to work it out and the history between Shepard(s) and Garrus and Tali, I have the right to question how insensitive you are.
But that's just my personal opinion though, no need to spread it around - Joker
Haters gonna hate, and you know it.
There's always some douchebag who's doing it just to ****** people off.
hey comon people are entitled to their own opinions,
Sure, that's true.
But in most cases, they're opinion lacks 'base' or certified facts and were entirely based on emotions. It lacks experience, or evaluated judgment.
Jack and Thane's romance, for example, is what I see as 'finding another love for comfort'. Both of them had a rough life, and I can understand that. In that role, Shepard plays the side that comforts the other, serving as a bridge towards what they thought to be a 'dark' future.
Garrus and Tali's romance is what I'd say an 'unrecruitable love', or what I describe as what love really means. Pushing yourself to get to understand each other, knowing both sides are of different species (and different DNA sequencing), and the risk of hurting the other--even to the point of death--is a feat that is very-very difficult to accomplish. They wanted this to work, and they would go to any lengths to make it work. THAT'S sacrifice; THAT is love.
Now...I might start dishing Miranda and Jacob now. Don't get me started on ME1 relations as well, because those doesn't end well in my book. I'll stop here just so I don't cause massive uproar, but to make it short I'll say it more as 'lust'.
Now if I relate this to reality, I'll say "sure, Miranda is perfect; one of a kind!" and "Tali is alien, strange, distant.". But let me tell you this, you can find people like Miranda (or Jacob) anywhere else in the world in almost everyday encounter. But to find someone like Tali (or Garrus), is a one in a life time chance. People like them are rare, those who think the needs of others before themselves are extremely,
extremely rare. And when you do find them, by God you best not let them go.
...it's just my opinion though, no need to spread it around.
