Oh come on.  Done right, it would be an incredible alternate (IE, not canon) story development.  And just the thing my Shepard needs to go on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge.

Anyway, just resting a bit and then I'll work on Grand Escapades.  The Garrus thread really digs it so far...loving the reception this is getting.  I'm glad to know I'm doing work that makes you guys happy.

The text "The Lovers" by Farmer may encourage some thoughts about Tali/Shepard.  There is, of course, absolutely no similarity between the characters.

Saren avoided indoctrination at first by willingly submitting.  Once Sovereign noticed that he was starting to doubt, the implants went in, and that was still just a last resort that doesn't pop up until Saren meets the powers of ULB.  Soveriegn never actually gets indoctrinated, one of the side effects is the target being more and more destroyed the more they resist.

Serious question - have you got any familiarity with the CDO/CMO markets?  (CDO = collateralized debt obligation, CMO = collateralized mortgage obligation, these securities were at the heart of the 2007 market meltdown that continues to affect global finance.)
