FailShep will survive, however, will be missing all of his limbs, and his entire squad and crew will have died, and Joker will have been replaced by Udina. In case of default, ME3 will be played entirely from the perspective of a generic re-skinned  Blue Suns merc named Jim.

That's two seperate topics really.  One is whether ME3 will play out in branching storylines based on how you played ME1/2, or will it just be different like ME2 was, Wrex instead of Reave, etc.  Bioware's statement that they want each game to be able to stand on its own leads me to believe that ME3 will follow in ME2's path.  You will see the effects of your decisions, but they won't actually change anything.

That's different from the topic at hand though.  Even assuming the changes actually matter, nothing done in ME2 should affect the future.  Tell the admirals that you favor peace?  They can ignore you just as easily as any other random quarian offering their opinion.  The big change would be losing Legion, but even that has possible fixes.

Thank you, it took us many cycles to successfully install them, they tend to try to override our logic subroutines.

Completed the third play-through of ME2...and I say its the best I've done so far. Romanced Tali, and am now waiting for Shadow Broker.





I've been thinking...if you have a LI in ME, then picked Tali in ME2, I wonder if she'll be the selfless self, giving away against Ashley's will of saying 'Shep is mine' or will she fought back and say 'Shep is mine'?

I'm just worried over the fact that some returning characters might have even smaller or insignificant roles in ME3 than in 2, because they are all able to die. That won't leave much wiggle room.

I've thought about this a good amount, and I think Tali will definitely defend her relationship with Shep.  All that selflessness and doubting should be long gone by then.  The two are together, and if she's questioning who Shep should be with, then Shep is failing in proving how much he cares about Tali.

I don't think she's going to give up the one thing in life she could call her own.
As for a fic, how about halloween?

We believe Tali would let Shep decide, and any sane player will pick Tali. However, we replayed ME1 with no LI so we can be pure Tali for ME2/3.

I've actually kind of turned on that worry a little.  They can easily fit 7-8 conversations in again, and then have each character with unique dialogue for each mission.  The only thing the characters can't be is an actual requirement for a mission.  I don't see the dialogue suffering that much.  Assuming Bioware is smart that is.

Interesting as I thought of a similar concept, the love interest impass...

Basically I romanced Liara in the first and of course Tali in the second, and I imagined that Bioware would make the next installment as such that both LI's will come together at some point and you would have to make a choice; return to your old companion and build your relationship with her even further, or stay with your new relationship because you thought of the old relationship as meaningless and you find you're new love so much more meaningful (That would be my option btw :3) But the fact that I "Cheated" probably will mean that both sides will take a stance of "It's either me or her, and if you choose her, I'm leaving for good" depending on who you chose, that's the party member that will stay to be a squad member and love interest.

Sorry if I don't have any other fan fic suggestions, other than my predicted conflict above.
