And as far as the confrontation is concerned, I would love it if the ME1 LIs just told Shep off and refused to get back together with him. Liara I could see believably crawling back to him after he "cheated," but Ashley in general I would respect a lot more if she just said "You had your chance," and that was it.

When Liara's begging on her knee's, I'm just going to say: "Sorry, but I asked for help, but you decided to play hide and seek with the Shadow Broker when I needed you the most, and now you'll pay the price. Karma's a b*tch..."

Oh come on, we can't fault Liara as much as we can Ashley/Kaidan.  Liara's trying to work to a better end somewhat, at least.

Just wrote some Grand Escapades, BTW, and Grunt is making Tali's life really hard by constantly stalling the combat sequence :V

So yeah I agree with you

And then the part where you come back to life. Some people may say that resumes the relationship.

Whether or not the entire process is cheating is debatable, that's why I put it in quotation marks.  That said, the other LI will obviously view it that way, so for the purpose of this discussion, we can call it that.

Personally, I emailed my ME1 LI with an official break up letter to make sure things were clear.  It just happened off screen (like the actual relationship in the first place <_<)

Well, I considered it one night stands, because my Shep was a little confused and tried to find his played here and there with some women, but it somehow wasn't enough.

Until he saw a certain woman throwing tech mines in an alley.Posted Image

No, but Liara is insane.

Insane  is a bit of a stretch...

Dude owed her money,  most likely  a large sum,   if the sum owed is Large enough  live flaying is perfectly acceptable.

Agreed.

Dating a chick that lives a thousand years plus, and can rip you apart with her mind?

No thanks man. Blue boobs or not.

God ya''ll are some Spiteful Son of ****es in this Thread.. ****. Its not like Liara did not have a good REASON for trying to hunt the Shadow Broker, hell who is sold your to the collectors and captured/Killed her friend... just saying.

The prevailing opinion is that she didn't have a 'good' reason, she has an incredibly flimsy reason.  Instead of rejoining you, the person she loves above all else, in order to take revenge on the people that killed you, she sits back feeding a grudge against the person that tried to profit off your death, and also killed/whatever her close male friend while you were dead.

I'd say that's priorities incredibly out of order personally.  I think Bioware just completely failed with Liara's character though personally :?

I'm suprised nobody asks, if Liara was a LI in ME1, and Tali in ME2, for the DLC there'd be an option whereby Shepard tries the threesome trick again and Liara and Tali pause to contemplate.

Then Mordin steps in and goes "NononothisistoowrongtheimplicationswouldbeunfoundedandyouhavefargreaterthingstothinkaboutShepard!"

I don't expect that old gag to work at all, because neither Tali or Shep wants to...share.

Some DLC where the romance twist is acknowledged would be nice, though.

*Shepard fastens the magnetic clasps of his Blood Dragon armor, Tali smiling under her helmet as the two prepare for the next mission.*

Tali: You know... Quarians had knights.

*Shepard turns to her before he place the helmet on his head, a smirk crossing his face and genuine interest in his tone.*

Shepard: Really?

Tali: Mmhm... They wore armor, traveled Rannoch, did great deeds, slew dragons...

*Shepard smiles as he walks over to Tali, his hand finding hers.*

Shepard: And did they woo maidens?

*Tali suppresses a giggle.*

Tali: Some. Those maidens would often give them a token, as well.

*Tali produces as long strip of cloth that matches the one wrapped around her suit, tieing it around his arm. Shepard smiles as he looks at the cloth, planting a kiss on the light of her voice modulator and bowing his head before fastening his helmet to his armor.*

Shepard: M'lady...

I like the idea of Tali giving Shepard a piece of her cloth as a sort of token, something to remember her by. Actually, I can see all quarian females doing it, something to "mark their man", after all, we know how predatory quarian females are.
;)

Seriously, that would be the single greatest armor customization option in history.

I suppose I have a different, more serious, approach to the issue. I would feel that if you came back you still had responsibilities.

Then perhaps it would be best not to detract from the current topic.
