I can't believe so many people blame Joker for what happens to Shep, and moreso that people actually think the characters think this.  Everyone's interaction with Joker should be proof enough that they don't.  Joker was just being the captain of the ship, Shep is just as responsible as him, and the characters in game reflect this.

Tali's grieving. Who thinks strait when their grieving.
Not saying she'll blame him forever, just in those few minutes after first hearing the news.

Tali probably doesn't even know what happened up there.  She's nowhere to be seen in the attack sequence.  I still feel like Joker is the one who may have had the situation weigh on him some, and Tali would be there to comfort him.  People that use snark as a coping mechanism can break down like that.

If it is announced that Tali is a fan of twilight in canon which side would she align herself with?

I too find Tali to be a deep, insightful character who's development over the Mass Effect series can be seen as an example of character design at its finest.

Indeed, old bean.

Quite so quite so.

That... conjures a painful mental image...

Tali lunging at Joker... Screaming that she's going to break every bone in his body... Translucent streams of tears running from her silver eyes...

If this takes place in front of the rest of the crew... it would really show how Tali really felt about Shepard.

Unless they all just think the reserved, shy,  quarian just fell off her rocker... :pinched:

I don't think she would go quite that far.
I do, however, see her weeping and punching Joker a couple of times in grief and anger. Then Garrus would have to pull her off and he'd turn her around and hold her until she stopped struggling and continued to weep in his arms.

I'm sad now. :(

Its not that people really blame him, she needs an outlet and a target for her grief  and he is nearest  target. Someone grieving is not being rather rational... I could have been Santa Clause and he would have caught the brunt of the grief fury.  Joker being Joker would understand

So if Tali never takes off her suit to bathe, wouldn't she develope a bad "fishy smell down there?"

The suit takes care of basic cleaning needs.

Where was this ever mentioned?

Well we really don't know who was on the ship still and who wasn't. Liara, Kaiden/Ash were, and it seems like Wrex wasn't, but as for Garrus and Tali, they still could have been around.

Kal'Reegar is "swimming in antibiotics" after his suit rupture.  One would assume they could also just flush a simple antiseptic cleaning agent through too.

Also, the "fishy smell" is a result of bacterial activity...  which the quarians take great care to minimize inside their suit.

Tali was a waste of opportunity to expand upon the Quarian race, and with Garrus for the Turian race. The ONLY reason why they were brought back was because people wanted to romance them.

Yes, she is more mature in ME2, but she doesn't talk about anything new? In ME1 she was the BEST character to talk with because she gave much insight about the Quarians and the Geth. In ME2, she doesn't bring anything new to the table....other than romance dialog.

I didn't say it was something I wanted its just we were talking about what she would smell like and my brain popped the question "well what if she could change it?"
thus I ask all of you.:wizard:

One must also remember that bacteria needs oxygen to grow.  If Tali's suit is airtight, then it couldn't.  She really wouldn't even need to have hygiene functions, as there wouldn't be anything that needed cleaning.

And  her loyalty mission provided zero enrichment to the story of the Quarian people?

She was still on the ship, but everyone beside Joker, Shep and dead people were on escape pods by then.  Only Joker is alive to see what happened on the bridge.

Right, because you never actually went to the migrant fleet and experienced the Quarian people firsthand in their own homes.
