Like with Samara and Mordin. Mordin tells you if you romance no one, he's not romantically interested in you. If you try to persue it with Samara, she turns you down.

Do I care if Tali or Garrus or anyone turns down a same sex relationship? Not really. I just wish it gave explanation why, and that Shepard could at least EXPRESS that interest.

Which leads me to believe they did it for all of them... then decided to back out at the last minute.

Interesting take on the idea.  Does make sense, with Shepard representing the player, that the option should exist.  A refusal could actually grow their relationship.

I think strikeoutShep would just get more people worked up than simply ignoring the option.

UGH...

Considering how much heat Bioware got for the romance plots being blown out of proportion in ME1. They probably decided it was not worth the trouble to deal with fallout from misrepresented same-sex romance plots. They essentially, DID NOT FEED THE TROLLS, at the expense of a small minority of their player base. My two cents.

because  Bioware got chicken **** and did not what to ****** off a certain section of the media that shall  remain nameless least the thread implode into void of despair and doom.  

 They  copped out thats why, plain and simple you can have same sex  relationship in DA: O  why not Mass Effect . Hell I almost  fell out my chair when Zeveran flirt with my male character.   

It pisses me off  that they  would be so spinless...

Or maybe bisexuality just isn't part of certain squad mate's personalities. Instead of calling BIOWARE, the company who gave us these great characters in the first place "spineless" (Lol, they are so spineless when they have same sex romances in the first place, amirite), consider that they just may have felt that certain characters were not bisexual.
