True that. However, the Trolls who did go after Mass Effect and Bioware (even Mircosoft to some extent) didn't mention ANYTHING else in Mass Effect 1 besides the romance plots. Therefore, to avoid the same thing happening AGAIN with ME2, they avoid the situation altogether. Spinless? Perhaps from a certain point of view. But in my opinion they still made an awesome product while avoiding giving fuel to the fire of intollerance and idocy.

Fox News never made a deal out of same sex romances. They made a deal out of the romance scenes in ME1 in general.

hmm Baulders Gate and  DA:O  both Bioware games neither got a much main stream coverage as Mass Effect both have same sex relationships 

Mass Effect the first Bioware game to get  Main Stream media coverage and a company that has had same  sex in the games up until now  some how   leaves them  out of the blockbuster sequel even after the record the Lines for it.. 


Yeah I have been around long enough to know when some suit told them to drop it from the game...

This is the single topic that gets me to feeling misanthropic.

 I just find it aggravating that some people are missing out on what they want. As a Talimancer, I know how I felt in ME1 when I found out I couldn't romance Tali. There are girls out there who want to romance Jack and Tali, and guys who want Thane or Garrus, and they can't have it, when all Bioware has to do is flip a switch and activate the lines.

Sorry... just... irritates me.

And do say it like that Buddha. I have ALWAYS supported Bioware. DLC you have to pay for, Firewalker, ect. They're a company, and they do damn fine work. They're among the best in the world. But still... it's this one thing I don't agree with...
