Take it with a grain of salt Kikai.  Mondo, much like many of the rabid jack fans, tends to add a lot of "character development" to Jack that is not stated or implied in the game itself.  Not that the Tali fans are not just as bad about it. ;)  I personally find Mondo's work to OOC for my tastes.

As long as it isn't horrifically OOC, it doesn't bother me.

Jack giggled and twirled her hair as she talked about how much she liked ponies. . .

Zaeed, agreeing with her completely, launched into a story regarding his childhood pony.  Whom he called "ThunderClops".

Tali can be very beautiful. I love her purple burka.

"Burka" has a strong religious connotation.

I prefer "Veil" or "Hood" or "Shroud".

Either way... I agree.  Purple is her color.

I just like the world burka. It fits.

Makes me think of  Dust  from New X-men... I like Dust...

Great no I have  Tali turning to sand  and messing up geth servo's :pinched:

It is important to remember that when you are writing Zaeed, that you use the proper spelling of Guddamn.

for example: That guddamn quarian locked me out of engineering!

I think writing Zaeed would be a great deal of fun. I did write a bit of him in my hypothetical Samara vs. Zaeed confrontation that I conjured.

http://www.fanfictio...s_Possibilities (Don't read the Jack one if your squeamish)

I think this is the best Zaeed I've seen written so far.

But to keep this topic on Tali/quarians I can see her finding Zaeed's tiny bit of "selfishness" a little "bad"

However I mentioned something Tali related. Hmm... Anyone wonder how strict gun laws on the Flotilla must be?

I mean seriously one wrong shot and... well there goes half the crew due to a hull breach.

Assuming it would even penetrate the hull, it would cause a slow leak not explosive decomp.

Well, depends on the circumstance sure, but it's plausible once you have bits of metal achieveing speeds we can only dream of. Plus some of the ships in the fleet date back to when Quarians fled Rannoch, they may work like Talis says, but they can't be particularly reliable. Well feel free to comment, it's all good.Posted Image

It's hard to see the Quarians really wanting personal weapons on the Flotilla on the first place. Is there even any crime?

Yeah probably right about that. It's just speculation, however there must be some sort of regulations, I just don't think it would be particularly safe on a vessel in space.

Agreed. Obviously small weapons fire isn't that dangerous (see Alarei), but given the impoverished state of the Quarian ships, fighting could probably be very costly. I mean accidentally shoot an air ventilator and people could die.

Then again I have no Idea how this conversation got past my initial post, doesn't seem that big a deal to talk about. Ah well, food for the mind.Posted Image

If bioware brought back Tali or Garrus because they had unfinished business with Shepard in ME1 and it HAD to be finished in ME2, then I'm fine. But I really believed that Tali's story should have ended in ME1. She only came along because she helped us find evidence against Saren PLUS she also knew a lot about Geth, the enemy that we fought for most of ME1. So it made sense to have her on the team, we get to use for for her knowlege of the Geth and she uses us for her pilgramage. Then by the end of ME1, her story really should have ended that. She helped us with the Geth/Saren and she recieved data to help her on her pilgrimage...her story should have concluded there and we both move on. OH BUT WAIT! Her story could not have concluded in ME1 because we couldn't romance her! So in an attempt to prevent backlash from not happening by excluding Tali from ME2, Bioware brings Tali back in ME2 and allows her to be a romance option to essentially "shut the fans up". Because in all honesty, I really believe Bioware had plans other than Garrus and Tali in ME2 but given how people wanted to romance them, they have to change gear and "fit them in" ME2. Thus taking away space for what they would have originally done had people not wanted to romance Tali and Garrus so bad.

I certainly think that she'd disagree with Zaeed's actions in his loyalty mission. I don't think she'd actually go out of her way to talk to Zaeed though. Just kind of ignore him, really. Meanwhile Zaeed stays his "don't give a ****" self about nearly everything.

Ironically enough, Tali is still awesome.
She just wears a slightly lighter shade of purple.

It makes me wonder what you would have seen as great character development for these characters. Granted, I would like to have seen Wrex return too, but what exactly did you want of Garrus or Tali in ME2 that they didn't give you?

too-long-to-read-shid.

*sigh* if you actually read the other responses back in previous pages, I might consider giving a serious response. You are as dull as it is, and is here just to waste our breaths.

Exit, stage right. Go take your leave.

Yeah, despite the fact they both share the same deck I see Zaeed rarely interacting with Tali, or anyone on Shepard's squad.

He even eats in there if all the food trays are any indication.
