This has been a LONG ****ing chapter.

Longest chapter we've done was 15 pages in Works.

So far? This one is 17, and it's just over half way done.

A LOT going on this time around...

Normally, Jones writes the chapters, all of them, and I edit. For this one, I'm writing the first Two Thirds, and my Writing is VERY discriptive...

Almost envy Jone's gift of brevity...

Daaang.

That one's going to take awhile to read.

A war upon a frozen field.
A battle to death, with glory to yield.

The geth number thousands,
or so the scouts claim.
But I am upon them, and they shall be maimed.

As the torrents of blood, cascade to the ground,
our numbers falter, defenses unwound.

Death comes astriking,
by knife or by gun.
The Admirals are yelling, wishing to run.

"Cowards!", I shout, as they flee from their posts.
Rannoch will fall, this they know most.

The loyal remain, but we have not the strength.
We cannot hold our ground, we cannot hold this base.
As the first bullets strike, I pray for my race.

Zaeed is basically the "tough grizzled guy" archetype used so many times in other Bioware games.

Would a large assortment of pictures posted at once cheer you up?

I'm fine now.

But the other day, Jones and I were discussing a particular moment in Reckoning, and I actually cried when I thought about it. Not gonna lie. Don't think everyone will feel the same... but... God damn...

Hmm... not the right place to ask, but how Reckoning coming along? Can I expect another well crafted chapter, soon perhaps?

On topic- Always wonders why Quarians used polarized or tinted facemasks. I mean I can understand the need for privacy on constricted ships, but why would the suit's be designed to hide their faces when they first fled Rannoch.

Think it came about as time went on? Just seems odd though for a social people to knowingly restrict themselves like the Quarians did, I mean how hard would it be for them to just use clear visors? Thoughts?

Probably looking into this too much.

Seems like Zaeed is a bit of a loner. I wonder about his past. So far as the game goes it's just been "merc."

He probably just doesn't want to get attached to anyone/anything on the Normandy.

Well his whole being there revolves around the huge contract he got from Cerberus. Shepard helping Zaeed with Vido was to get Zaeed prepared for the suicide mission.

If bioware brought back Tali or Garrus because they had unfinished business with Shepard in ME1 and it HAD to be finished in ME2, then I'm fine. But I really believed that Tali's story should have ended in ME1. She only came along because she helped us find evidence against Saren PLUS she also knew a lot about Geth, the enemy that we fought for most of ME1. So it made sense to have her on the team, we get to use for for her knowlege of the Geth and she uses us for her pilgramage. Then by the end of ME1, her story really should have ended that. She helped us with the Geth/Saren and she recieved data to help her on her pilgrimage...her story should have concluded there and we both move on. OH BUT WAIT! Her story could not have concluded in ME1 because we couldn't romance her! So in an attempt to prevent backlash from not happening by excluding Tali from ME2, Bioware brings Tali back in ME2 and allows her to be a romance option to essentially "shut the fans up". Because in all honesty, I really believe Bioware had plans other than Garrus and Tali in ME2 but given how people wanted to romance them, they have to change gear and "fit them in" ME2. Thus taking away space for what they would have originally done had people not wanted to romance Tali and Garrus so bad.

If that's your opinion your entitiled to it, However it has already been noted and discussed. Now would be the time to bow out gracefully. Seriously informative text walls a great an' all, but this is borderline trolling at this point.Posted Image

See thats just the thing. People assume that I am trolling because I have some negative views about Tali but that isn't the case. I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything. I just want to have a discussion about what are other people's opinions about Tali playing a role in ME2 vs that role being played by a new Quarian.

This is the Tali thread, where most if not all the Tali fans come to post. So I want to know what they have to say about Tali possibly taking up space for what would/could have been a NEW Quarian squadmate (male or female) in ME2. THAT is what I want to discuss but it would appear that such intelligent discussion isn't possible here as most of the discussion is short and simple nonsense.

Trolling is when I'm trying to angry people or say stupid stuff to get a stupid response. No, I'm trying to generate a thoughtful discussion about what possibilities ME2 could have had if Bioware did not bow down to the popular demand and bring back Tali for ME2.

The cramped conditions of the Flotilla probably made the Quarians want what little privacy they can get. So after some time they probably tinted their visors.

I was curious. Thank you. Was this you as well?

The Exiled Anthem.

They can't stop us, let 'em try
For Tali’Zorah, we will die!
Quit the board this morning, said forever I would hold my head up high.
Cause I need Tali in my life! Just like an eagle needs to fly.
So I walked outside into the fleet, from a board I heard thunder and screams!
I walked inside so I could hear, and the guy beside me gave me a beer!
He had his fist up in the air, he called me brother,
and said “My friends are over there.”
They call themselves immortals,
They're the truest of the true.
And in that very moment,
I was born again like you!
They said “Hold your head up high!
Raise your fist up in the air!
Love Tali louder than hell!
Louder than hell!
They can't stop us, let 'em try!
For Tali’Zorah we would die!
Brothers stand beside me, there's a battle on.
Know my words are true.
There's a battle for Talimancing.
They're marching; they're marching on me and you!
Ten thousand strong are here tonight,
With twenty thousand fists up in the air!
The power of Talimancing's calling you
It's everywhere
Hold your head up high!
Raise your fist up in the air!
Love Tali louder than hell!
Louder than hell!
They can't stop us, let 'em try!
For Tali’Zorah, we would die!
