Also. We need more on topicness now.

Let me see... Can't say anything about any sketches...
How about we try to decipher where the smilie on her neck plating came from?

Clearly, she's trying to draw Shepard's eye.

Crafty quarians...

They were never a council race, they were at volus/elcor level.  They had an embassy.  The AI rules were also in place before the events of the Morning War.

Can't see any real obvious influence to be honest, though I'm sure its around somewhere.  I'd blame it on not enough info given.

That's what happens when you mirror half the mesh after UV mapping something. And your eyes are just, well, programmed for facial recognition. Same reason why people see Jesus' face on toast and stuff.

Indeed. That happened to me more than once back when I was modding various FPS's.

I can make an image. Do you have anything specific in mind, or do you want me to just make something up?

I'm not sure about that one. I thought the codex implies that the rules against AI were made after the Morning War.

*shrug*

At least we have it if we want it, not that I think I'll use it all that much.

I thought the rules about AI were because of the Morning War. Which is rather hilarious since the quarians weren't even researching AI to begin with.

I could have sworn ME1 Tali mentioned that they were skirting the rules limiting AI in her talk about the Morning War.

It appears that I didn't miss much over the last 30 pages. Something about lesbians, clans and guns.

Actually I remember something similar, too - that there was some reference that AI law had already been in place. Maybe it's a continuity error?

Techincally, they did make themselves. They just gathered in large numbers, and that made them smarter.Posted Image

From the AI article in the Wiki:

"Artificial Intelligence is a key concern for the Citadel races, one that pre-dates the emergence of the sentient geth..."

Best example I could find on there.  Hints at laws being around before, though hearing Tali's line again would help.

Well, I thought I would never see a conversation about lesbians in this thread again either, so we're even.Posted Image
