I have been lurking around in the forum for a long time now. Had some laugh, D'aaaaaw moments, and loss of man-cards from fics and posts. Then came the break of the 1st Migrant Fleet into 10k, then its sudden closure...which kinda strike me.



So I figured I guess I should stop lurking and join in the conversation. Can't help but to think you guys are reflections of ME Quarians. Denied a number of times of a 'place to settle' (Tali'Zorah boards v.1, v.2, v.3, v.4), trolled around by haters (trolls, Anti-Tali, etc...), but kept a strong community going (the 'Migrant Fleet') while getting resources in and around wherever is available (the Tali pics)



Romanced Ashley in ME1, but lost her in Vermire. Glad my mainshep lost her, because after ME2 came out...

I'm about to take my first crack at writing some Shepard/Tali content (well, Garrus teasing Shepard about being romantically interested in Tali during the time of the first game and Shepard getting annoyed) I have no idea how will be received here, since I'm approaching it from something of a different angle of Shepard pining and wondering if pursuing a relationship would be selfish and with more attention given to the discrimination faced by quarians in the galaxy.

Not quite what I meant, Rune. I just meant that the fact that I'm paying more attention to the fact that quarians are the galactic punching bag and how that might affect the relationship with an exiled Tali during ME2.
