And yet, no one questions how we can travel across the galaxy in the blink of an eye, while in the books it takes hours, if not days.

It's implied, but not shown. Look at how you have "two hours" bedore the Suicide Mission--it's shown then because there's a reason to.

Thats the point SWM is try to make, it could be days/ weeks between the FP meeting and the actual time the next mission (the recruit tali if desired) takes place. Since once again "time distortion" is in effect. AKA mass effect fields.

Whoever it was, I will find them. And kick them in the shin. Really hard.

Thank god for save editors :?

I wouldn't be surprised if they just simply had no idea where to put Legion to recruit.

I can't think of a better location for him to be than the Reaper ship.

Why was he even on the Reaper ship in the first place?

Anyway, he should been recruited earlier. It's almost impossible to go through all of his discussions that late in the game without doing N7 missions.

That's the thing though.  It doesn't matter what GAME timeline is, it matters what the player experiences.  Like I said on the previous page, if we had gone to recruit Tali immediately after Freedom's Progress, everyone would be complaining about how poor the pacing was.

Since when do you have such a negative opinion of Mass Effect 2?

Gathering information on the quantum storage techniques the Heretics are using for their virus.

Especially since he has six unique dialogues on the Normandy, one of the highest amounts. Plus he has dialogue for damn near everything else, including Mordin's recruitment mission (which is, technically, the first one you should do).

Legions dialog for the earlier missions is probably the most incomplete (he has little to no dialog on Mordin's or Horizon) and I think his dialog is also incomplete on the Collector Ship as well. Since Miranda started talking for him...when she wasn't in my party.

That was poorly paced.

...but what does that have to do with what I just said?

I heard that he was meant to be recruited very early in the game. It's true, Legion has one of the highest amounts.

I think it could have been solved with a "investigate collector activity" Mission you could choose to do that would "unlock the other Dossiers with out having to do any others.  It would function just like  the Ship raid mission but you coudl do it at any point in the beginning or after you recruited the initial dossiers.  Tha tway you could just do that oen mission and unlock the rest of the dossiers and do them all in any order. ^_^

I guess but then that would have interrupted the flow of the rest of the game.  What I really liked was recruiting a few teammates after the "intro," getting a nice story-intensive mission, recruiting more, ANOTHER story-intensive mission, then having free reign from there.

Sure, the freedom wasn't as noticable but I'll sacrifice complete freedom for better story pacing any day of the week.

Not entirely true:

Mordin's mission - he specifically states that he's immune to organic diseases before you enter the quarantine zone. It's funny though if you take both him and Zaeed because neither have dialogue recorded for the dead Turian you can click on, so everyone just kind of stands there awkwardly.

Horizon - I'll give you that.. I don't think he has anything there (meaning it was a late addition, most likely), though I could swear that he makes a comment about the Husk corpse and the control tower, but I could totally be wrong. I might have to replay that with him to see... :?

Collector Ship: He has comments for everything the rest of your squad does: Commenting on the "architecture", commenting on the empty pods, the pile of dead bodies, the computer console, etc. I think your Miranda thing was likely a glitch.

I think the Miranda thing was probably due to him and Grunt not having the "They're going for earth!" dialog. So the game used Miranda.
