It just isn't economically feasible to bring the VAs back to just record a few lines of dialog.

Better idea.

Call them and record what they say. Try and steer the conversation towards what dialogue is needed.

Yes, because that'll sound great in game

Sorry, my humor detector is on the fritz because people don't understand the simple concept of not waking a person up when they have a sleep disorder and now I'm horrifically sleep-deprived.

The WTF reaction you will get from Tali both not having the accent and talk about stuff that would have nothing to do with the mission would be too great to pass up.

"Hello. This is Liz Sroka. I can't answer right now, but--"

Shepard: You're right, Tali. They were doing something horrible here. And we'll stop them.

Yeah...something tells me she wouldn't be saying Bosh'tet...

Also, any fic writers want to review my first attempt at writing?

http://social.biowar...1897/blog/7961/

Constructive critcism/ outright telling me the truth would be appreciated.

Read my blog.

Now check out this ancient minific from the old Mass Effect forums, by Patrick Weekes:

shep: so, tali... have i told you how attractive you are?

tali: you know sex with you would kill me, right?

shep: hey, baby, the sheepdawg is just barkin'. i mean, the way you rock that purple suit...

tali: black.

shep: uh... no, no, it's kind of purple.

tali: what the... oh, keelah. your eyes must see further into the uv range than ours do. it looks black to me!

shep: um, okay. well, no big. anyway, about your hips--

tali: dangit, they warned us about this before pilgrimage! i mean, we can't even see the asari due to their shade of black.

shep: blue. they're... okay, listen--

tali: only our most vile criminals wear purple! it's a symbol of shame they must wear at all times to remind everyone that they kicked puppies or got caught in bed with a geth or something! it's like in your ancient earth story about having to wear a badge or logo to advertise your shame.

shep: the scarlet letter?

tali: no, red dwarf. listen, nobody can find out about this! do you hear me? nobody!

liara: okay, even for the citadel, this is a long elevator.

tali: AAAAAAAAAH! HOW LONG HAS SHE BEEN THERE? WHAT DID YOU HEAR?

shep: hey, ladies, let's just not talk for awhile...

I feel strangely proud. (Yes, he claimed it was non-canon, but he must've got the idea somewhere, perhaps BioWare had already been discussing the concept of the quarian visible spectrum being different from ours. Don't take me out of my dream world, ya' bastards!)

“After time adrift among open threads, along tides of flamers and through hordes of trolls, I will return to where I began”

How is the Tali thread this afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen?

I wrote a fic, and people were discussing the real viability of getting Stroka to voice some parts for the DLC. Personally, I doubt that'll happen, but still, I can dream.

It's possible. It seems they recorded some of the dialog for Lair of the Shadowbroker during the development of Mass Effect 2.

I just wouldn't get my hopes up for it though.

edit: I've found the best way to enjoy the Mass Effect DLC is to keep reasonable low expectations. If you expect too much you're going to be dissapointed.

It still boils down to how much effort they're willing to put in for the VA's. Liara, begrudgingly, will be the main focus in it...Not exactly happy about that, but what can ya do? If she even mentions my Tali daliance, then I'd be surprised. If not, well, expect some drama in ME3.

While I'd also love more Tali content, look at it from the Liaramancers' perspective.  They got, what, 10 minutes of Liara in ME2.  This DLC is for them, not us.

Hopefully, we'll get a Tali DLC later.

That would however, require some seriously odd contortions of storywriting in order for her still to be suprised when she finds out you've been doing it with the perfect engineer.
'Cuz my Shep ain't ashamed of his relationship with Tali, so there's no way it'll remain hidden; then again, my Shep ain't a Liaramancer, never was one either.

My femshep romanced Liara in the first game. Blue space lesbians for the win. But then romanced Garrus in the next game. Interested to see if there is any interactions...

Won't hold my breath, but like Garrus says, there's always a small chance you'll be pleasantly surprised.
