To be fair to the rest of the LI's, there should be a release of DLC for everyone that you can romance, but are locked unless you're doing the horizontal.

That way, you can't go to Miranda's skanky place if you're doing Jack, or have that one place you got after Pinnacle Station be the love pad.

Because it's not like she had the most dialogue out of everyone in the entire game sans Shepard, or anything. Sure, I'd like to see a romance pack and what have you, but I'm not drooling at the notion either.

To which I say screw em. I'm willing to pay for DLC, simply because the teams that worked on it deserve a couple bucks thrown their way.

Same thing with people who complain about DLC you need to buy. Bioware makes it, they have the right to sell it. I honestly don't understand how DLC got to be such a hot button issue.

I'm interested in the Liara DLC though. Apparently, Bioware is gonna cut back on it a bit and focus on the larger DLCs that bridge the two games. Now THAT I'm interested in.

sounds good...keeps the fans interested, keeps the plot decent and helps the story flow..

If I think it's worth a dime or two, sure.

I was pleasently surprised with the Firepower Pack. I thought it was just going to be three more weapons with slightly different stats than the rest. I think that kind of DLC is worth its price.

God damn right.

Those same people have probably never worked for their money. They make it sound easy. It's not. Designing a new gun for example? It's hard work! You have to have an artist design it, often going through several itterations. Then, someone has to model it. Then, it has to be animated. On top of that, it has to be unique from the other guns, but not directly overpowered. You have to find a balance. Then, you have to texture it, set up all the code to make it downloadable, and people don't realize that isn't easy. A single gun has to go through at least twenty people in the design team, and probably everyone for playtesting. These people do this for a career. They deserve compensation. And if someone doesn't want to pay for it, they don't have to buy.

I agree. Of course, your mileage may vary.

This is why I LOVE DLC.

You love new guns? Get Firepower.

You like new Armor? Get Aegis.

You the time of gamer who enjoys alternate costumes, like me? Get Alternate Appearance.

You love it all? Go for it.

You can pick and choose what you want. If Liara doesn't interest you, you don't have to get the Shadow Broker DLC. I think it's great that people can choose what they get out of the game. It's genius, and I'm glad Bioware has gone through with it.

Mentioning the Firepower Pack...



The ability to one-shot a Geth in the face with the Phalanx is worth the 2 bucks thrown in. But no, they have to add the Geth shotgun and the Mattock, which makes this pack rise above the Aegis Pack.

They have both been very good packs. I love the Kestral Gear, Garrus' new rifle, and the new guns from Firepower ROCK.

I'm in love with the Mattock. Just like my old Carbine from the Halo Series... my favorite gun of all time...
