The developers/writers used to be more active on the Mass Effect forums before. After ME2 they pretty much vanished.
Well, what do you expect?
BIoware: Hey guys, how's it going?
Fan: YOU RUINED MASS EFFECT! IT'S NOT AN RPG ANYMORE!
Fan: Your ruined my favorite character!
Fan: I HATE YOU!
Fan: Are you making blow up dolls of my favorite character? I'd like a (blank) doll!

Well at least Gaider also spoke with the fans before DA2 was released. I believe I saw him defending Alistair. I also saw him posting in a fan group for Alistair on livejournal.TMA LIVE wrote...

The ones who likes the system in ME1 better than ME2s, are f**king retarded. To put it mildly.
In some ways yes they are. I was relieved when I heard the inventory system got jacked into what it is now. Less worrying about a character when the assault rifle they have is the same as yours, without it being an older model.

That's something I can agree with. EA and Activision. They must be dealing with el Diablo.

When I heard that Kasumi had stolen some fancy omni-gel converter on the news net, I thought: Who the hell uses omni-gel these days?

It's interesting. We could possibly listen to the news updates and be able to get a sense of what the next DLC might be.Someone With Mass wrote...

Yeah, but I've seen some of the Bioware guys try to post here, only to be chased off by garbage. Example, one of the writers of Kasumi came to talk about the character once, and was hit with lots of "Why isn't she talking about ASH/KAIDAN! What makes Liara so special!" Or like how Bioware patched the level point glitch, and people demanded a reason. So Norman comes on and gives the reason (aka, corrupt import saves). People claim she's full of **** and lying. So she gives more details. They still claim she's full of ****. etc.
And about the Alistair thing, what was Gaider defending?

That's what I like about the whole thing. So much immersion, that you feel like what you do, and what others do around you, have a tangible effect.
All of this is getting off topic, though. Tali?

Oh, it was just a teaser for the Kasumi DLC BW had slided in. Although, that would be a more fun way to broadcast such things. Better than Cerberus Daily News or whatever it's called, anyway.

EA's gotten a lot better in the last 2 or 3 years. I think they've learned to let good developers do their thing with less meddling. Activision, yeah, ok.

Alistair's actions at the Landsmeet. In the livejournal group he was doing that as well as talking about the Alistair romance endings (which upset many people). And about the Alistair thing, what was Gaider defending?
