Hey fellow Tali-mancers. Been gone for about a month or so. Glad to see the world's sexiest shotgun-sporting space gypsy is still going strong.
And in all that time, I'm amazed that her appeal is still resonating so strongly with me. To say Bioware hit her development out of the park is a gross understatement. In all sense of the phrase, Tali is the complete package, sporting brains, talent, style, tenderness, strength, selflessness, and, even enough, looks. I just find it so refreshing still in this age of adolescence boob physics and scantily-clad, sexualized game icons that a character like Tali can not only exist but emerge as the predominate lady of the entire franchise. She undermines the obvious physical attractions of the more human-esque female leads like Ashley or Liara, bowls over a genetically perfected, artificially augmented supermodel like Miranda, and eclipses an entire race of hot lesbian blue-skinned alien women, all without so much as an inch of skin on display and all carried on the shoulders of her insurmountable charm, personality, and pitch-perfect character development.
I don't know if the clamor for her inclusion in ME3 as a front and center vital member of the squad is still ringing strong since my absence, but I'm going to assume that's still the case. It's a great sign of good scripting when a character such as Tali fully satisfies in every aspect of her presentation and yet leaves the player desperately wishing there was more content to explore with her by your side, specific to her and her alone.
Regardless, I'm sure stating that Tali was beyond well received, not just as a more fleshed out character but as an example of a strong yet vulnerable female lead, is old hat by now, but it hasn't gotten old with me yet. She can safely join the echelon of "ideal" game women alongside Alyx Vance, Samus Aran, and Chun-Li as practically presented yet universally beloved digital ladies. She exists to refute the assumption that gamers only care for a pretty face and serves proof positive that the strengths of attractive and alluring characters lie in the heart and soul of their personalities.
And we need much more of that, and of her.
Sure thing, brah.Someone With Mass wrote...

As much as I like Tali, these cards could've been better. Like say... Jack as the jack of hearts, Shepard pointing during his speech before the suicide mission for the king of hearts (the suicide king), Joker as... the joker.Runescapeguy9 wrote...
but i would never do that to her, she deserves to have the option of staying with shepard or the fleet, she must be extremely strong not to let her true emotions show through.Someone With Mass wrote...

Oh, that part after the trial, around 3:15 minutes is pretty sad, but I also find the things Tali said about finding her true place to be very touching.
but it would be fun to play Zombie ShepardFsDxRAGE wrote...

The artist did different people for each card. These are just Tali's.NuclearBuddha wrote...

Tali can stay as the queen of hearts, though.
Talking smack and cursing at them is okay, but both versions of upper left blue are more eloquent. Which is kinda saying something for Shep.solazz wrote...
I think I prefer the intimidate option during Tali's trial. Getting to put the Admiralty down like that leaves me with a warm, fuzzy feeling.
Oh? Is there a link? A person might be able to construct a good deck from these.Runescapeguy9 wrote...
