I agree people are a bit too harsh, but devs run the boards to hear people's opinions and they take the risk of feeling the flames when they show up.

Yea, but I could see why being maliciously attacked would make them less likely to even bother.

Well, it just seems like, if people aren't willing to really ask interesting questions, or just %$%#^@ everything they say, you kind of loose the point of talking to these people.

?
I agree, it's important to hear feedback, whether negative or positive. However people seem to take things personal and insult Bioware instead of just saying "I didn't like that we had less RPG elements"...or "I like that the updated graphics." A lot of time it's "Bioware is selling out! They hate their fans and are slaves of EA!"

What did I miss?

Don't overdo it on the coffee. Might lose it's flavor.
Or so I've been told...
I'm going go to sit in the corner now...

The remember the days of crashing into everything with the Mako...

I remember driving the Mako till I got stuck. So I got out in hope that I can move it outside, only to fall into a pit I can't climp out. So I reset, and start on the auto save, and redo 1 hour of gameplay.

Boredom strikes with a clarion and resounding "meh".

Give me something to write.

Preferrably ShepZorah related.

Also I wonder how high Tali can jump.

Well, the quarian (I'm upset I forgot his name...) in Ascension could leap from building to building. So I'd assume quarians are good jumpers.

strong legs, I wouldn't want to be kicked by a quarian.

And it'll probably send you flying across the room.

I'm going to put something like that in my fic.

Tali finds out Earth set aside land for nature reserves and wants to visit them some day.

Beat you to the punch.

...Or the kick.

Tali went first, her movements an elegant form of martial art as she twirled on one foot, delivering a powerful roundhouse kick that resounded in a sickening crack from the merc's spine. As the other three turned, Shepard deftly made his move, delivering a cybernetically reinforced jab into the nearest merc's throat before bring his palm forward and shattering his nose in a fountain of blood. The third drew his pistol to aim at Tali, but she was faster. The quarian ducked, bringing her leg in a powerful sweeping motion and knocking the merc down to the ground. Tali brought her leg almost straight up before bringing it down in a powerful axe kick, snapping the merc's neck. The fourth panicked, attempting to run down the hall. Shepard charged after him with a speed and ferocity that would leave a krogan envious, tackling him to the ground and slamming his head into the steel floor repeatedly before he went limp.

There was a swimming idea fielded about 100 pages ago. How about Shepard and Tali on a jetskii?

Right. Because people who have a different opinion than you are instantly retarded.

Agreed. I replayed ME twice recently just to have a character I'm not changing the class of. Despite popular opinion, it is not longer than ME2. Both take me roughly 20-25 hours to beat. ME2 does not have the damn mako driving sequences. Nor the long elevator rides. And ME2's side missions are varied so a majority of them don't feel like: go from A to B, kill guys inside building C.

The only thing I miss from ME1 was the looting. Also Saren is not as amazing of an antagonist as I remember. He has a few decent monologues, but other than that he's just doesn't feel as personal as most remember him as. I really like TIM as the antagonist in ME because he's not a direct antagonist. It feels like an Anakin/Palpatine situation because TIM is trying to convert you to his side, see things his way. TIM plays within the greys to do this. This really plays with your way of thinking and who you want to become. Whereas in ME Saren comes off as a fanatic whose gone crazy, trying to convince you that siding with genocidal super-machines is the best way to live when you can clearly see him going mad. TIM on the other hand tells you you have to sacrifice the little things in order to preserve everything and to defeat the Reapers.

So Harbinger was not meant to be the antagonist. It was TIM. This whole game was about who you are, where do you stand, what are you willing to sacrifice?

My image of Saren became a more sympathetic one after I read Revelation.

And even if TIM was the antagonist, I think he did a ****** poor job.

Unless the whole intention was to make me hate him. In tha case, mission f**king accomplished.

And Harbinger will never be able to outdo Sovereign. I think he ruined the threatening image of the Reapers Sovereign created in the first game.

Ah, the Mako, the best vehicle ever, and what a joy to drive. All the hours spent backing up, activating boosters and trying to not wedge myself into cliffs. To think I was in my fourth playthrough of ME when I finally realized it had a cannon. The good days...

I just wanted to make it known that Reckoning has completely ruined Taken for me.

Unless quarian Liam Neeson shows up to kill everyone in Reckoning, I'm not watching this movie again.
