Ah, the Mako, the best vehicle ever, and what a joy to drive. All the hours spent backing up, activating boosters and trying to not wedge myself into cliffs. To think I was in my fourth playthrough of ME when I finally realized it had a cannon. The good days...
I miss that tin can of love<3
<3
That's just the obvious example, there's still all the other times where Tali had to sit up close cramped against Shep to help work the controls. Leaning into each other around turns and bumps, hands touching reaching for the same button <3
I crashed the Mako in Snake in the Mud, lol

As if that scenario is even practical, considering where she is and how impossible it would be to even find her, much less save her.
*shrugs*
I was under the impression that the audience was well aware where the story was going. Everyone who has read it seems to understand that much, even if there are plenty of surprises still up our sleeves.

The only thing I miss about it is the main gun, the machine gun, the shields and armor...
Yeah, I love it more than the Hammerhead. The only good thing about the M44 is the ability to hover over water...Can't do acid, though, for some reason.
I'll be honest, I loved the Mako in ME1. Driving around planets, hunting down random enemies and useless trinkets that I have to get for completionist sake, even if I know I'll be starting a new game +. I was always more annoyed when I got to my destination and had to fight the same enemies in the same 3 rooms over and over, at least the Mako fights were a challenge on insane, using angles and dodging skills.
Plus, come on, Tali and Shep wedged up close together working the controls? <3

How many times do you think Tali has had a child ask her about why she is wearing a bucket on her head?
Never.
Parents don't let their children go near quarians.
And they are wise to do so. Quarians steal children and take them back to the Migrant Fleet!

That doesn't sound comfortable. And, anyway, the Mako being that small would be pretty stupid...Phil725 wrote...

Most probably, yea. Some of the ideas being thrown around on the forums I wouldn't like the devs thinking are good ideas.TMA LIVE wrote...
Also Collider, you have to consider that ME3 is still being put together, and isn't in a solid form yet. The story is still changing, the gameplay is changing, and the characters are changing. It's better not to talk, or read fan fiction, when you're still putting your game together from the concept stage.

Joker has a line about comfort being an after thought on Alliance millitary vessels, the Mako is incredibly small when standing next to it, even compensating for world map shrinkage, it isn't more than a few feet wide/tall. Tali is a genius engineer, and her handling basic functions of the Mako allows Shep to focus on the driving and shooting. I don't think the two mind the cramped area up front either <3

I had to snicker at that. Most I got was just a sidelong look and a guilt trip. Never threatened with being taken away by some boogeyman.
Although, if a Quarian took me away...I could live with that.

That statement alone defies your logic that quarians could be used as a boogieman substitute...

I think part of what makes this story awesome is that it isn't cliched as hell. I want someone to kill everyone in that place, but I'd be really disappointed if it happened. It feels more real when things don't work out as you want them to.
I am very, very interested to see how Xen gets out of there.
