Batarians also have a reason to have prejudice against them.  Ones that follow the laws of their people don't leave the homeworld.  Only terrorists and slavers do.  We just don't see the sympathetic side of batarians, its likely that they are just as discriminated against, if not moreso than anyone else.

Quarians seem a bit more likely because only humans, in the game at least, seem to have a major beef with the Batarians.

Not all of them. That's like saying the quarians are more likely becuase they're thieves.

The batarian government doesn't let anyone leave their homeworld, the only ones that do are breaking the rules, and are criminals.  Aside from the ones on the government funded slave trade pay roll.  Out of all the misfounded prejudices, this one is closest to being all fact.

Difference with the Batarians is that in-game they're universally portrayed as generally nasty or of a questionable occupation.

Well, no I don't mean that. I'm just saying they seem more like the people to be told to fear. After all, why would you fear a quarion being around your kid compared to a batarian? They aren't even allow in Council space.
