Building sympathy for the devil, so to speak.

And he is doing a good job with it. I can't even count how many times I have thought: "Poor Xen" during his FF.

And Xen isn't all evil, especially in her own eyes.

Can't be blamed for something your ancestors did.

some humans do, even today.

It still doesn't make it justfied.

I never said I agreed with it.

I have learned sometimes you have to let things go.

Not everyone disagrees with her ideals.

Same with the devil.

I'm on the fence about her plans. If she pulls reaper indoctrination, I'll have no choice but to send a Mattock round through her face.

If it builds an army that can stop the Reapers, then hell...give it some wiggle room.

No one thinks of themselves as evil. I would say that wanting to enslave a sapient race is plenty evil and immoral.

Which is boring.

The creation of the fic sprung from the desire to see her fulfill her potential as a character and as an antagonist.

The real challenge here is to get her from point A to point B.

Still doesn't mean I'll feel sorry for shooting Xen in ME3.

And the fact that she doesn't think this at all doesn't make you the least bit intrigued as to how she came to that extreme conclusion?

I highly doubt every quarian knew about the geth's sentience. It would be a pretty bad day if your butler-bot just turned on you for no reason.

the quarians attacked first Tali say this.

That doesn't mean everyone did it.

in war no side is free of flaws and that's a fact.

Agreed.

It depends on how well she is fleshed out in ME3. Then I'll see if I feel sorry.

No, because no one thinks of themselves as evil. So she's not special. I'm not intrigued because the game does not give me a reason to. I am about as interested in why she has her ideas as I am interested in why Harbinger has his ideas. She's a one dimensional villain right now.

So I'm at fault for asking a little depth from my villains?

Nope. I would agree that they need more depth.

Let me specify.

I don't give a **** what you think, because you don't even bother reading it and would rather sit around questioning the necessity of fleshing out a character.

Go with the bible's thing? He wanted Adam and Eve to have knowledge. To give pleasure to all the humans in the world. Lucifer was actually against god's domination of mans world.

But I'm NOT getting into a religious debate. It's pointless, because it's all BS anyway, and it only causes havoc.

Evading topic as we speak. I'd rather not delve into such a touchy subject. I'm rather incendiary about it.

We can possibly continue the Bible discussion here, otherwise since it's a touchy subject we should probably drop it.
