I liked how KOTOR II did the protagonist.

The only thing I liked was Visas.

I didn't like Visas at all.

I'd like to state that I am not opposed to the idea of uncaring evil. That is, "born bad" is a perfectly acceptably reason for villainy. Not everyone has to have a sob story to "explain" why they're a jerk.

And on a more monolithic scale, blind, unthinking evil on the scale of the Reapers terrifies me all the more for its incomprehensibility.

The Reapers are more hilarious than scary due to Harbinger, for me.

This is your post-modern irony talking, coupled with a safe remove from the situation.

Of course I'm removed from the situation. If we're talking about Shepard himself, (my Shepard) he is intimidated by the Reapers.

does that mean he crover under a table sucks his tumb and crying mommy?Posted Image

Uh...Buddha? I wrote a couple fics...care to spare some time and give them a read? I need to reach a consensus before deciding to continue.

Point me at them.  Just to make sure:  you want real critique, right?

Probably not.  I mean, he's Shepard.  But a sleepless night or two might not be out of the question.

Be honest without destroying my fragile ego.

http://social.biowar...1897/blog/7961/ First one. More of a minific.

http://social.biowar...1897/blog/7968/ Second...more of a background filler, really.

Be gentle, yet assertive.

Er... none of the above?

I can see I just need to make a list, here.  I have to admit I'm pretty poor about keeping up on FF, especially lately.  I just plowed through the last Black Company omnibus and Roadside Picnic IRL, so...

Weren't you just reprimanding me for defending my fic as off-topic?

Maybe turning things into a Tali-based direction would be prudent?

Shepard? Scared by the Reapers? Bah. They're scared of him. That's why they're making sure to try and kill every human around him. So he can't reproduce.

Well, I'll let you off the hook because I had to Google "omnibus".  You must be doing something important to use a big word like that.

But seriously, read it.  It's in the OP post.  That MUST mean it's important and worth your time!

No, more so myself. But yes,  I'll keep it to the off-topic section. Anyone who wants to talk about KOTOR II should go there.

Maybe turning things into a Tali-based direction would be prudent?

I like that Tali's romance is the most conditional.

This might take a minute, because I don't really recall them that well.

Handmaiden was boring:  a let's get undressed and fight tsundere.
HK-47 I hated for the same reason as I didn't like Wrex.  "LOL I'M SO MEAN!"
G0T0 same thing really.
Mercenary girl, whatever her name was, she was just kinda there, you know?  Not a lot of story or whatever.

Who am I missing?

You know, this could have something to do with how damaged KOTOR2 was anyway.

Agreed.

People often overreact to her demeanor in the romance when she's actually quite the opposite.
