Heh. Paramore Interrupts. I like it.

Seriously.

Is there anybody here who can call themselves a Talimancer who wouldn't jump at the opportunity to literally sweep Tali off her feet or plant a kiss on her visor before jumping off the Kodiak?

Nope.

Course Not! One of the real reasons that we are all Talimancers I think is because admiring the love between Shepard and Tali is a prime example of being a hopless romantic, like I am :3

And what hopeless romantic doesn't love a good sweep off the feet moment?

Hm. Can't say I don't want that.

Mobius:  I like was you did w/ Zaeed.  He's a subject near and dear to my heart.  I have my own take on the topic:  Warrior.  I don't suppose you've heard Kasumi's dialogue on the various outcomes of Zaeed's loyalty mission?

You've got a clean, proficient style of writing, which is not a given in the FF world by any means.  I appreciated that.

As for the Origins one, it's not so much an FF as a declarative recitation (and that's okay, since it's apparently just character background).  It's got some good ideas, especially RE: the relationship with Finch, however, they could be better expanded on with narrative.

Thanks man, I was worried there for a while. I'll work on finding my voice in my writings. And I knew the Origins one was a recital of the basic Earthborn war hero, but still...I felt like I needed to find a central ground for everything past this point. I'll see what my restless mind can come up with when I'm wax guddamn creative.

Also, I read Warrior. Yours was kind of the inspiration to mine, although I wanted to go my own direction. No need to copy someone elses work. And yes, I have heard Kasumi comment on it.

Disagree. The ME banter was far too generic and too short/few.

I suppose. But I miss the team mates cutting in on conversations. Now they're quiet half the time.

Its like the Alerei hug, without the sadness :wizard:

I'd be as interested to see Tali's reaction as anything else now that I think about it.  I'm thinking embarassed giggling and a playful shoulder push

Quite frankly, For either gender Shep, you honestly can't go wrong with the established characters. Jacob, Thane, Miranda, and Jack just feel like cheap flings. When Tali or Garrus enter the picture, it's an established camaraderie that evolves into something more.

For Garrus it looks like he could get whatever Turian babe he wanted, but what he needed was someone to trust.

For Tali, it came from an admiration crush, to the stark realization that the one man she trusted was dead, and that she couldn't get him back. His resurrection was viewed as a second chance. And she took it.

Like this human, he understands.Posted Image

I like that Tali's romance is the most conditional.

Agreed.

People often overreact to her demeanor in the romance when she's actually quite the opposite.

Just a case of people not bothering to try to understand the characters, I think.

Gasp! Depth?! From a female video game character?!

Stop the presses!

I know what the problem is...All these damn kids and their instant gratifications...They don't want to think about the implications and effects of their choices. It's much easier to be the giant thunderfooted killing machine that slaughters everything than the soft-spoken hero of the Citadel who actually cares about his team.

And that's what Miranda was. Instant gratification. God some of her lines were terrible. The way she described love as hormones and crap. It killed the mood. It was really just sex with her.

Ok...you know what's freakin halarious?

My job consists of, on Friday nights, washing and sanitizing steel buckets that are used to move raw cheese around where I work.

I also have a fever.

My 'team' so to speak, is called the Bucketeers.

I'm done now. B)

"Yes, Tali, that's very sweet of you, but I have to go now. You really like to play with my hands. A piggyback? Eh...sure. Right after I'm done...no, taking antibiotics in the middle of a battle is probably not such a great idea. Oh, don't get me wrong. I appreciate the thought, but this is not the time. We'll talk later about this."
