It can be her home without exiling her. If she is forced to stay with Shepard instead of choosing him over the flotilla, it doesn't hold the same meaning.Someone With Mass wrote...

no matter how much crap they give her, its still her home.
She has a better home now.
Yes, thank you. I'm very well aware of that.

There's something called a save file. Heard it's pretty rad.

It seems like it will cause a huge difference in quarian politics depending on whether she was exiled or not. At least, that's what it looks like to me, from what the admirals say during and after the trial.NuclearBuddha wrote...

I want Shepard to get the ability to offer the Rannoch option to the quarians in exchange for reversing Tali's exile. My Shep would be all over that.

remeber talk of paragon having bad results in ME3.

That's going to be a little difficult when they won't even let you come near the fleet.

Uh... getting her exiled is a paragon option. Aquitting her via betrayal is renegade. Seriously, they made it so easy to acquit her, I can't believe that we'd be punished for it.Titanium Man wrote...

Why would that be a punishment? It would be a cool option. And my Shep would totally play hardball like that.
