The design of this room is really cool.  It's clearly repurposed (the exposed piping around the amphitheatre) yet it's formal enough to have an awning over the Admirals' podium for lighting.  There's crap stacked in the corner, and grunge growing on the walls.

I'd have to say that they probably wouldn't leave the ceiling that high, though.  Big waste of space.

That's actuality a good point. They could fit a whole second level there.

Maybe, since this is an important room, it's the exception to the rule?

quarian engineering may be different but it would seem they would be smarter than that

A video game that plays with your emotions is a good game

I can't in ME.

In most games I really don't have much of a problem with it (Fable, Fallout, etc) but Mass Effect?
BioWare made me care too much.

True. It's very easy to behead mindless peasants. But not be mean to my squad mates...

Ahh yes, "Talimancers", a supposed demographic dedicated to Her, all Her, and no eyes for any but She and Dat Ass. I have dismissed this claim.

I'd probably feel sick if I sent Veetor away with Cerberus.
And in Fallout... It's so easy to blow someone's head off and not care at all. Posted Image

I hate how renegade is designed.

Do you want to be a dick? Or an evil dick? And occasionally a badass but mostly an evil dick?

Well of all the over rooms we've seen on their ships, everything seems to be very cramped and cluttered. That courtroom is the rare exception. I doubt BW would have it that way by accident.

Or maybe it's a room where all important events are held like weddings or what have you, so the space comes in handy at certain times. Or, hell, maybe the quarians wanted just wanted a place to stretch their legs.
To me is seems like the quarian equivalent of New York's Central Park.

Just spitballing.

Wait, wait, wait. So you're telling me that if I blow up this entire settlement, I get an awesome penthouse suite in return?

Gimme the button, daddy's makin' a crater!

In ME it's more like; 'You'll get Veetor when you pry him from my cold, dead hands, Miranda!!!!'

I can watch people being shot in the face, beheaded, and blown up on the internet but I don't want to watch that.
I am guessing that is a bad thing

Pretty much.
I lost the ME1 Renegade achievement because I couldn't bring myself to destroy the Rachni Queen.
It was a ****ing bug and I just. Couldn't. KILL IT! :crying:

This, everything you see here, on this thread, is Talimancing.

I'm just a Tali fan now.

Also, renegade IMO is different from the douchebag telling Thane his is a "poor me" story. There are times to be renegade, and times not to be, you simply can't do it all the time or you'll be a douchebag, it seems.

It's only on the Rayya.  It doesn't do much good to the rest of the population.  And most of the other ships are far too small for that sort of luxury, probably.

Can't the population of one ship temporary occupy another?

I'm just saying that maybe it's acts as meeting place for the entire fleet. I mean, there has to be some kind of central hub for large events, right?

Not disputing what you're saying, but it brings up another point of quarian politics.

The Conclave can't possibly meet physically.  It's a legislative body with 51,000 members.

This is the old Goat, cuz I'm older ;)

So, I can get the shield upgrade before Tali's mission, and then I can get her loyalty and not have to talk to her afterwards?

I can't be a d-bag in games. Ace Combat Zero has the Knight/Soldier/Mercenary flying style where you take out everything, military targets only, or just objective targets.

I find myself being more knight than mercenary. Not everyone deserves a missile up the bum.

In games involving choice, I generally don't find myself screwing over my allies, and mercilessly killing my enemies.

maybe they just felt the need for the ONE large amphitheater for civic meetings it could be the only one in the fleet [other large ships might have one] and it could be the only tiny bit of space left after storage and living quarters were alloted for the general populus
