Harold put a lot of work into that. I think he would appreciate it if you didn't say it sucked. The earlier chapters are less organized. Keep reading.Mobius_118 wrote...
Also, on an unrelated note...is Into the Darkness any good? Where does it stop sucking, because I've read a few chapters and it feels a little disjointed.

That too. Though my point was that I wish we could have been friends with Jack.
Please do. Gervaise would be interestedCollider wrote...
Miranda and Jacob don't really irritate me, but I felt that they had a lot of potential that simply wasn't used or wasn't right. Maybe I'll write my thoughts on it.

I thought I should make you all aware that I am working on a manifesto to denounce the council and call for the dismantling of their government. This is relevant to tali in that I am citing their discriminatory and racist actions against the Quarian people as a one of the main points in my argument.

I wonder if you can. Like if you don't romance anyone, and don't commit to Jack, maybe you can get the dialogue done with and then....aww fuck it, there are no loop holes.

That's why I just stop talking to Jack after a certain point. That way I can pretend that all's good.

Not friends. Platonic, yes, probably. I haven't thoroughly tested it out. But the game is still stupid about it. The first no I told Jack should have been enough.NuclearBuddha wrote...
I have this theory that if you tell Jack you're just going to keep it professional (and her response ever after is "you're just pissing around" or something like that) that actually is her "platonic friend" state.

What happens when you don't talk to them, I wonder. Like in ME1, it was even easier to avoid squaddies, I didn't talk to Ashley the WHOLE time and I guess it defaults to a handshake on Horizon, and by all indication, we had a nice friendship.
So as a captain, it's better that you completely ignore your squaddies than tell them you want to get to know them inadvertently leading them on and thus forcing you to make a choice resulting in sex or abhorration forever.
I feel so bad for Shepard.

I completely ignored Liara in ME1 my last playthrough. Ironically, my attempts to avoid romance was thwarted by Ashley.Goat_Shepard wrote...

Jack and Liara suffer from "Bioware love interest syndrome" to the extreme.
Bioware, baby, you gotta write the romances for the character. Not the character for the romance.
