In order for something to be scary, it has to make sense.

Yeah, she has plot armor, but she is also killable.  She has no advantage over anyone else. 

She does. It's a lot harder for her to die. Meanwhile Tali is among the most likely.

Well, that depressing notion everyone had about the LI getting indoctrinated?

I can honestly say, I'd have no problem with shooting Miranda till the gun went click. I wanted to do that during the suicide mission. She, along with Jacob, are the two most inept terrorist operatives I've ever seen in any video game. Ever.

I read a nice little FF where Tali's in Afterlife with Jack while Shepard's doing the Morinth thing, and this turian comes up and gropes her, right? Well...*looks around*

On the other hand, the last time Tali had a problem with a turian getting handsy, she responded with grenades.

The primary thing I found wrong with Jacob is that they did not expand upon his background. I have a theory (in the social sense) that Jacob was intended as an "anti-Kaidan." Jacob did not have enough problems.



The primary thing I found wrong with Miranda was the lack of character consistency.

Exactly. That's the greatest strength of the franchise, and the devs must surely know this. I can't imagine that we won't have our favorite characters back in ME3.
