Yeah...every time I see that I get chills. Something about your last message being 'I love you very much' carries more weight than an order.
That, and it's an emotionally loaded scene. Tali's missions always seem to strike home with me.
It's 'Mommy loves you very much'.
Somehow. . . that just makes it worse.
Then there's Real's wonderful message right on the heels of that. . .
I'd rather get Rael's message, thank you very much. It helps rectify the situation. "I love you" does not.

Hey a Tali fan thread! I was a Tali-fan since the first ME and it scares the **** out of me to imagine Tali'Zorah becoming an admiral of the Migrant fleet npc just like Wrex. We can't that let happen.

Unfortunately, with the track record of the first ME's LI's I can see BW making the completely idiotic move to do just that. Of course, I'm a pessemistic optimist. I expect the worst but so happy when I'm wrong.freddyfurious wrote...

Tali needs to stay right where she is! The Captains cabin!

Welcome to the thread.
And don't worry about Tali becoming an NPC, the only thing that could bring that about would be her VA not returning, which won't happen. Aside from all of the story discontinuity, it doesn't make sense financially. And in the end, that's the only thing that matters.

that deppens on what is going to happen in the start of ME3.General Ashous wrote...
I don't think that Tali would abandon Shepard just to become an Admiral. I think she'd stick it out until the end due to her loyal nature.

I think the start of ME3 will be Shepard devising a plan on how to stop the Reapers and thus Shepard would probably consult his squad. That means Tali would most likely be there. Also, she said herself she doesn't think she'd be a good admiral, though I disagree.
Agreed with devising a plan. I see ME3 beginning right where ME2 left off. Full team, ready to go start preparing for the reapers. If there is a time lapse between ME2/3, Bioware had better come up with a really good explanation for it. Random vacation excuse won't cut it.
Sure Tali would make a good admiral, since not supporting the quarians dying in flames is all it takes apparently. That said, I don't see how she has the credentials or prestige needed to be elected. A position on the admirality board isn't something that people two years removed from their pilgrimages earn. On top of that, there's the whole issue of her possibly being exiled hanging over the entire thing. I always interpreted that conversation as Tali stressing that the quarians were putting forward anyone's name for the spot, using her own name to stress how even the most outlandish example was being thrown around.
All that said, no way she accepts the position anyway if it will take her off the Normandy. She can do more good for the quarians/the galaxy from there, and she knows it.

If they do so im going to draw a picture of a crying Tali'Zorah every day and send it to Bioware for years to come. Than they might think about there crimes.

Bioware woudn't bother about their crimes if they made enough Moolah to tide them over. However, they may think about their previous crimes now (removing Wrex from the team, slowly killing Thane etc.) and not commit the crime of removing Tali.
Well they are humans in the end. Maybe they wont bother for the first year. But then when actually no one buys the game anymore and they still get reminded of the horrible things they did each day some of one will regret i think. not all but some.

What you say makes perfect sense. That's what worries me since what they did to ME1 people did not.Phil725 wrote...

The game SHOULD start actually still near the collectors base as it explodes, WITH a damaged ship and not the repaired one they showed.
The only reason you should need more crew is if you were lazy and didn't do the loyalty missions that were rather simple (well, except the tear jerker of Tali's) but this is BW. I fear.
