But let's suppose it takes a couple more years for the Reapers to arrive.  This brings up the question - what does the crew do during that two years?

I guess we could have a bunch of missions...but they would represent a way to spend time before anything happened, would they not?

Guess we gotta have a montage.Posted Image

Yes...because that's how you explain what happened over the years.

With a montage. *cue bad puppetry and singing*

I really hope BW will fix that, because there's little to no motivation to buy all the gap filling DLCs if that's the case.

but we all know we'll still buy them :P(but seriously, im positive that bioware will implement more dialogue in the "story gap filling dlc")

I suppose it's possible that BW actually thought it through and had additional dialog recorded for the connecting DLCs (hopefully Expansions and not the crap we have gotten so far).
If that's the case then I could see them using the expansions to tie to two main games together.

posting this for fun.

Tali: Shepard what are you doing?

Shepard: Nothing.

Tali: Keelah Shepard something is wrong.

Shepard: Do you feel something?

Tali: Yes. What have you done?

Shepard: Remember the nerve stimulet you have?

Tali: Yes.

Shepard: I turned it on.

Tali: Keelah Shepard it's not the time.

Shepard: I deside when it's time Tali.Posted Image

I wonder when we are going to hear specific details about them, how many they're going to be and such, because I'm more excited about them than any other DLC at the moment.

Don't you mean if? Strictly speaking, they're not obligated to do anything for the fans at all.

In the interest of story, they would come up with something. However, I'd prefer if they had small dev teams working on DLC, and the main crew working on 3. Maybe bring in special teams for specific DLC, and do something epic.

I'd still pay for it.

Tali: May I ask what's wrong with being dressed like a quarian? You're not exactly looking like the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Kasumi: Maybe we should throw our own party, and steal all his guests...

We really need a Tali/Shepard version of this pic.

To cover say a two or three year pause between ME2 and ME3 they should have been coming out with plot advancing content about every 6 months. Move one section along and wait for the next section to move later.
The DLCs are more just a new place to kill something than any real meaning to the ME universe and as such have found both to be a huge waste of money and time.
Firewalker... Just what WAS the purpose of that?
Overlord... Come on, such a STUPID ending. A omnitool lets something control a person? If the interface were on that level then there would be no need to type on the damned things. They really blew that one out their asses.

don't forget the Shadow Broker DLC, wasting a great character like that on DLC, unless I hear some squatmate dialog on that I say it's going to fail and I'm not talking about Liara dialog.

Dialogue between squaddies is a must for that DLC, especially if you have Garrus or/and Tali with you. Also if you romanced Liara in ME1 and have your new ME2 LI with you, there should be some dialogue about it. I know this probably won't be the case, but I'm hoping.

Then again, Shepard is riddled with cybernetics...

He still must use his hand to control the omnitool.  They did not implant chips in his brain so NO, I cannot believe or accept the stupidity of the ending.
What cybernetics?  Replacement vertebrie, maybe a joint and bone replacements but nothing dealing with his motor control.  It was a stupid plot device that should never have been used.

And if he could be controlled that way, Tali would have hacked him long ago.  Boy toys are hard to find.

Hey, look! I'm posting a small preview! Very small.

Lt. Shepard's mind was dulled. He vaguely remembered an explosion, only to be jarred back to reality when he tried to touch his face. He drew his hand back, covered in his own blood. He looked around, shocked by the carnage around him: His small fireteam had been obliterated.

But it's sci-fi. You can do anything in sci-fi. /sarcasm

Agreed, I was disappointed by Overlord, only because it reeked of Lawnmower Man. Come up with something original.

I say that there's a 95% chance of no dialogue between the team mates 5% there is going to be dialogue between the team mates, this is me being optamistic.

and lack of dialogue from Tali and Legion was the worst problem of the Overlord DLC.

Well that too. If you're going to do DLC, flesh it out so it feels like an integrated component of the game, not some half-assed patch.

Well, I would send a letter to them canceling your subscription because clearly they don't hire people with intelligence.
Sorry, been reading SciFi for over 40 years and I have never seen stupidity like this given the age.  Older scifi had big holes in the stories but stuff written in the 50 and 60 cannot be compared to todays.

Edit for Tali!
Sorry, need to remind all that Tali IS the only reason to continue to ME3 for me currently.l

I would rather have expansion packs then DLC.

Thanks for the fix.

If nothing else, Tali makes the game worthwhile. The humans are so guddamn boring, comparatively...

Also, whats with all the human love interests being biotic? 4 biotics, 2 non-biotics. Biotics, man...just...the future's mages. I hate mages.

As Kirk said..(somewhat)  "Tali, the most human of us all."

Most biotics have serious anger issues too.

As for the humans, I haven't seen something different that I haven't seen before, in movies or other games. I can read most of their personalities like a book, and that makes it boring.

No surprises at all.
