Yeah. He should at least use himself as meat shield to protect Tali from the killing shot, which any fire team leader who's loyal can shake off in seconds.

*Shepard panics, wondering how Garrus could have found out humanities most secret of secrets, that every human child who has ever existed has wanted a robot buddy.*



Garrus: I saw how you reacted when you saw Legion. While Tali was busy wondering how best to destroy him, I saw a completely different reaction from you. Your eyes bulged out in excitement and you were temporarily transformed back into a ten year old child would had but one thought in his head repeated over and over. "Fudge yea, Robot Buddy".



*Shepard is in utter shock, realizing how transparent he was.*



Shepard: What are you planning Garrus?



Garrus: Nothing. All I did was make an observation. However, let me give you a heads up. Since Tali hasn't had as much dealing with humans as I have, being in the fleet most of her life, she didn't suspect a thing. How do you think she's going to react to this?



*This realization falls upon Shepard like a ton of bricks. How to tell Tali? How would she react? She'd want him to get rid of Legion. He couldn't do that because, well... Robot Buddy. Shepard then wanders out of the main battery in a daze and in fear.*



Garrus: Legion, do you experience anger, specifically anger directed at a meatbag?



Legion: We understand the theory, but we do not experience it.



Garrus: Right, well when John introduces you to Tali make a video recording of it. It'll be good first-hand experience. Also, could you give me a copy? I need it for my own in depth analysis.

Most of the characters have all of the dialog for the Suicide Mission (because all of the actors share the same script for general dialog) they just cut it out if it is irrelevent to that character.
