Tali will be in it, of course. She's just too awesome to leave out.

We prefer Tali's orginal suit simply because of the greater armor customization in ME1. Being console gamers, it is nearly impossible for us to get that kind of variety in Tali's ME2 outfit.
I would love to see ME3 introduce customizable armor and weapons for each character.
Tali would be a bit harder to do this for... but still. They could try something.

Sadly, a game limitation. Can you imagine how beautiful the flotilla would be, seeing all of the quarians with their own decorated suits on the level of Tali's?
So... awesome! I've always thought laser-etching a quarian's faceplate could be cool.

I gotta admit I think I like Tali's ME2 getup better. That "cloth draped over one boob" looked odd, and the arm armor thing just looks out of place compared to even the generic ME2 quarian female model.
See, I liked Tali's original outfit, not as much as I love her new suit for oh-so many reasons, but the ME1 outfit will always have a special place in my heart.
Most of the other female Quarians seem to wear suits similar to Tali's ME1 outfit. Her ME2 gear is a little unique among Quarians.

Mass Effect seems to go with a general design of having two bodies for every race (male/female, if available) and then just a bunch of unique heads. You'll notice that there are no obese people, and in fact, everybody is pretty thin.
ME3 would look great if there was more variety. Especially on the suits you mentioned. The Quarians would seem slightly more individualistic if they all had customized suits--And it makes sense, given that they probably use no more than three suits for their whole life.

Don't be hatin' on Tali's ME1 suit. It may have been asymmetrical, but it also carried four weapons and had a place to store grenades somewhere.

You are so right. I am a novelist myself. Not a published one, but for in very minor publications, but the music I listen to is a huge part of my inspiration and the movtivation that makes me hold to these very time-consuming projects. The music I listen to sets the whole mood of my stories. Art is symbiotic like that, and no form of it is less worthy that another.
I have to say that I have never written fanfic, though. ME is the first universe that has prompted me to consider it, but I don't know if I'd really have the knack, as I'm better at creating my own worlds.
Fanfiction is an interesting genre. An established fanbase gives a large readership right out of the base. Plus, the established characters allow you to avoid excessive character description.
It allows Grand Escapades to run smoothly for that very reason.
Also, yes, Samara as the residing person who marries Tali and Shepard would be a great use for her, given her role.

Maybe not... The bare suit, without any adornments, could remain, but other portions of armor or other hardware could be fitted to it. She's a quarian, she'll figure out how to deck her suit out for combat. Wouldn't be surprised if she figures out how to mount an exoskeleton to it... without drilling bolts into her bones.
But Tali needs a hardsuit armor set far less than some of the other squaddies...

Maybe they'll give Tali a new model in Mass Effect 3 and spread out her Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 models among the other quarians.
I... wouldn't like this. Tali's ME2 outfit seems very personalized. Very... Tali.
Would look weird for another quarian to wear it.
((Also, how could she look any better? Why change whats already awesome?!)

Consensus achieved. Hopefully, ME3 will introduce the system given to ME2 Shepard for all characters.

Well, it makes sense that Quarians would not be fat, given their limited resources. But bring on the obese Asari in ME3, lol! Although, we could imagine that future peoples are more nutritionally responsible, and that obesity is simply a symptom of our ignorant, indulgent modern age.

Not to mention the fact that every character in game except the obvious race exceptions are the same height

Agreed, the change from ME1/2 made sense, considering the two year gap, and the major events happening in her life. Anything other than a minor change going into ME3 would have to be explained somehow.

From what I've seen there are plenty of ignorant, indulgent people in the ME universe.

Right! Give the squaddies ME2-like customization. Then give Shepard a quasi-ME1 setup.
Or at least let me put different scopes/barrels/etc on my weapons!

Biotics have the perfect calorie-burning method, fortunately, so you won't ever see a fat biotic.
Well, except for volus biotics...

I don't see a problem with it.
There are some parts of society that don't need to be represented.
