Well, it makes sense that Quarians would not be fat, given their limited resources. But bring on the obese Asari in ME3, lol! Although, we could imagine that future peoples are more nutritionally responsible, and that obesity is simply a symptom of our ignorant, indulgent modern age.

Once nutritious pudding is invented, obesity is a thing of the past :wizard:

That said, it could be explained somewhat by us only seeing a very tiny percentage of the races, and those are likely the ones fit enough.  I imagine there are still plenty of fat people on Earth.

Mass Effect seems to go with a general design of having two bodies for every race (male/female, if available) and then just a bunch of unique heads. You'll notice that there are no obese people, and in fact, everybody is pretty thin.

ME3 would look great if there was more variety. Especially on the suits you mentioned. The Quarians would seem slightly more individualistic if they all had customized suits--And it makes sense, given that they probably use no more than three suits for their whole life.

Not to mention the fact that every character in game except the obvious race exceptions are the same height :pinched:

It would be nice if the gave more attention to this. Since Quarians are stated in the materials to be shorter than humans, and Tali is a female, she should be a quite a bit shorter than Shepard. Not that I mind the idea of a 5' 11" Quarian pouncing me, it is more likely that Tali is no more than 5' 5" at best.

Consensus achieved. Hopefully, ME3 will introduce the system given to ME2 Shepard for all characters.

Right!  Give the squaddies ME2-like customization.  Then give Shepard a quasi-ME1 setup.

Or at least let me put different scopes/barrels/etc on my weapons!

Agreed, though I'd hate so see an exact repeat of the ME1 equipment system.

Something similar, but a little less annoying would be nice. Hated having to scroll through 15 kinetic buffers and cryo ammo slots just to find the one item I wanted.

I don't see why not.

Don't Justicars, by their definition, act with the authority of the Goddess?

Makes sense to me.

That's actually a pretty badass prospect.

Married by divine mandate.

Not big on religion.

But, I'd be honored for Samara to perform a ceremony.

Neither am I, but that's still a special brand of awesome right there.

Regardless, I see no reason why not. Unless Samara has some objection to it, which I can't really imagine off the top of my head.

Weapons should have:
1: Customizable accessory --  i.e. scope, extended barrel, bigger thermal clip, etc
2: Customizable fire mode -- i.e. auto, semi-auto, burst
3: Customizable color and accent -- pretty self-explanatory there

And I've brought this up before, but no one in the future has glasses.
I think it was Nuke who made the comment about corrective eye surgery being available, but then Samara makes a comment about a 'near-sighted doctor', and that leads me to believe that there still must be a need for glasses.

She called the doctor "near-sighted" because he could never comprehend what she was going through.

Fat-retention has a lot to do with genetics too. Myself, I can gorge myself on the unhealthiest crap out there and not put on a pound. Not always a positive, I might add, since it's hard to build any kind of body mass either. Perhaps Quarians simply don't have the genetic makeup to allow them to store energy as fat, and can never be other than the size we see.

Indeed, so some reason it's very easy to see Samara in some kind of ceremonial robe reading off scripture before Tali and Shepard.

It's a great day for a white wedding.

The nutrient paste they have doesn't sound like it would contain a lot of lipids, and plus, its probably highly regulated for optimization of resources and health.

Probably not the most original idea, but I would've thought that any wedding between Shepard and Tali would involve Admiral Raan and Ambassador Anderson or Admiral Hackett. Kind of a joining or transfer between two fleets and whatnot.
