What's your problem man why are you such a downer? I think you need to live a little.

I don't believe you have the right to question my attributions. For the record, I would be fine with either. I am simply stating my beliefs on the matter.

Comparisons between Timmay and Xen?

Both hold security and dominance for their kind in high priority.

Both are coldly clinical and objective to a disconcerting fault.

Both seem ambiguous as to whether they're friend or foe.

I'm willing to take one for the team.

Who's left to defend humanity in your version of the galaxy?

Shepard can't do it alone, forever.

If Shepard does everything right?

He won't have to.

Sometimes... all it takes is one man.

Look at Jesus. Or MLK. Or Ghandi. All great men, religious connotations aside, who promoted great things that have had a lasting effect on the world. Sure, there is some negative mixed in there, but there's a lot of good too. It's a start.

I don't have many heroes. Almost none. I have no respect for the majority of people I've met, known, or have heard about. There are exceptions. MLK is one. Without some of the work he did, and the support of those who followed him, I'd have been deprived my best friend through childhood. I'd have been deprived of the girl I asked to prom.

That's what Shepard can be. The person that starts the turnabout. So that one day, maybe quarians won't be looked at with so much mistrust, and that human working the salvage team might hire that quarian on pilgrimage, and maybe they'll be friends, as opposed to telling her humans don't want quarians working there.

There is always a better way. It may be rough, and it may not be easy, but in the end... it can be worth it, for someone out there. Don't you think that's something worthwhile? If not in your game, then in the real world?

I have no real problem with peace.  I support integration of foreign ideas and ideals.  But it would be naive to believe that a defense isn't necessary.   Great leaders, for example, are often helped along by the times they inhabit.  There is a reason it took India so long to break its colonial collar; because until the 1940s, Britain wanted to keep them.  Ghandi's timing was just lucky.  He gave a face to the movement (and if anyone saw tonight's Frankenhole on AS.... XD) at just the right time.

But we cannot stand idly as the machinations of others act to harm us.  We cannot believe that these machinations don't exist.

"Speak softly and carry a big stick".

--Teddy Roosevelt

You're forgetting the whole "speak softly" part there.

Terra Firma appears to believe that only the big stick works.

"Speak softly, but carry a big stick" was Winston Churchill, wasn't it?

No  it was Teddy  Roosevelt

Ok, then my boss is a moron, as he insisted it was Churchill.

Why do humanity's interests require a band of human racists to defend them in yours?

They are not racist.  Humanity requires a defense because the various alien species have, as seen, acted in their best interest first.  The turians, for example, have broken sentient races over the knee by utilizing brutal tactics in order to force submission.

That's not to say, however, that I expect such a drastic defense to be neccessary.  Earth must stand firm against alien influences, "politically, socially, and in the worst case, militarily".   We cannot forget Shanxi.

Your  right we did  protect ourselves from the monsters out there  will try take advantage of us but does that mean we become like those monsters  or worst to do so.   Earth can have its strong defense with out bigots that will do us more harm than good.   T.I.M has the right idea with Cerberus  but they keep recruiting complete and utter IDIOTS who can't follow  simple orders.

T.I.M: I want to you explore  human biotic potential

*6 months later

T.I.M: I SAID EXPLORE  HUMAN BIOTIC POTENTIAL  NOT START A CHILD TORTURE HOUSE.

a we see why T.I.M smokes so damn much

TIM supported what happened to Jack. Even if he was ignorant, which I doubt, he wouln't have stopped it.

His methods in Retribution support this.

He didn't know, listening to the  Recordings at the lab the   Researchers we talking about how he kept asking for  cost reports. One  says that he is afraid T.I.M  was on to them.

in the email afterwards  he got the  kids, families,  care and the amnesia treatment which considering the hell they went through   that may have been the best for them. Its safe to assume that families they were placed are prepared for any relapses.

Its not an  Ideal solution but sometimes we do the best can.

That place was ****ed up situation all the way around

It was just FUBAR

TIM hides behind a veneer of mystique.

Daro is honest and upfront, and therefore worthy of respect.

So why don't you add the disclaimer instead of simply disagreeing with something in a 3-word post?

"I think those claws you like are fingers, but I'll be fine with either." See? Now you're a more productive poster :)

I'm not explaining this again. I'm sick and tired of having to explain why kidnapping children, starving them, experimenting on them, torturing them, and killing them, is wrong.

Go ahead. Deny it. TIM didn't know. The man whose information network rivals the Shadow Broker's doesn't know what goes on in his own labs. All of them apparently. Lazarus. Overloard. Zero. Ascension. Yeah. It's not like he'd ever lie to you about him knowing about the experiments or not. He's always been honest.

I'm so tired of explaining this over and over again.

If Xen becomes a major(ish) antagonist, I hope they give her a customized suit.  Something to represent her clinical, up front nature.  Like a belt with a splicer, a saw, a pair of handcuffs....

Yeah if you read your email after Jack Mission there is  one   that  States T.I.M shut the place down , got the kids families and what help  the  could be given to the, which consisted most of amnesia treatments.

While not Ideal its the best that could be done in  give the circumstances

Oh and  the surviving  Project  Leaders were forced into early  retirement   A.k.A  a nice way of saying they got bullets in the head
