The question is - do you think it would be unattractive if Tali was religious?

A thinly veiled attempt at starting a religion themed ****storm?

No.

This question is perhaps better asked pertaining to Ashley, since we don't know the context of quarian religion.

I can't ask that of Ashley as for all intents and purposes, she is religious and we are aware of this.

No, not at all. As long as she was open-minded enough to appreciate diverse views on the divine. After all, she'd be unlikely to even be into a human if she was a total zealot.

It would be one unattractive feature, but an insignificant one when compared to all the positive traits.

ME3 needs scenematic death blow animations like Dragon Age.

*Imagines Thane running upclose to Vorcha, tosses his pistol in the air, does his super-fast fistjabs and uppercut that he did in his trailer, catches the pistol, pistol whips the Vorcha, and finishes it off with a gunshot to the head as it falls to the ground*

*Imagines Tali grabbing a Merc by the collar, shoves the nozzel of her shotgun into their mouth, looks the person in the eyes and pulls the trigger.*

Explain to me how that, of all ****ing things that Shepard and Tali go through on a daily ****ing basis, is supposed to ruin this for me.

Well, that does kinda put it into perspective.

Of course not.

To me religious means dogmatic. I hope Tali is more open-minded. Especially since she's in a relationship with an alien.

I assume if she were "religious", she would believe in the quarian ancestor worship.  From what I've seen/read of quarians, that's what they seem to do, rather than believe in a particular diety.  I wouldn't find that unattractive at all.

Just stopping by to drop a fic in this *currently* inspiration-less atmosphere of mine...

Good comments = post in blog. If not, left to vanish in the mountain of thread.

Dream

Quarians don't dream
When the Geth forced them into exile and the council ignore their pleas for help, they don't sit and mope for their loss and dream for a return to Rannoch. They created a thriving community on board starships, wandering the stars in search for a new home and a new world. When the threat of the old machine became real, and their creation came to understanding, their homeworld would return once again.

Quarians don't dream
When the council races laugh, sneered, and branded them as 'vagrants', 'thieves', and 'beggars', they don't expect to be treated respectfully. Instead, they did not act upon what they were called upon and relied upon  a community of selfless individuals willing to give their life for another to achieve a greater goal. When their oppressors were faced with overwhelming odds against the old machines, they lend a hand and rescued them from great peril, leaving old grudges behind.

Quarians don't dream
When she is rescued by an Alliance Commander and is asked to join him, she doesn't demand for an equal treatment or excessive commodities on board his ship. Instead, she humbly complies his request and follow him to the end. When he was lost in an accident of unprecedented magnitutde, she moved on carrying his burden with her as far as she can carry.

Quarians don't dream
When she was seperated from the man she love for two years, she never wished for another to replace him; nor a replica that resembles him. She waited, patiently, hoping that one day she would be able to join him once again in his journey as long as he needs it, living or dead. When she was given the chance to, she cherished the short reunion and suppressed her emotions knowing full well that he is alive.

Quarians don't dream
When she noticed the feelings she has for him, she never wished for him to repay it in kind or responded to her. Instead, she act upon it, accompanying him, guide him, and watch him from afar knowing one day--just one day--he would thank her for that.

But when he responded with love, she will cherish it for the rest of her life.

Quarians don't dream
they make it happen

Not the best piece of snip I've written so far. I might write something else with the same 'theme' sometime in the future, but I'll just leave this here for now. My internal clock and my mind is not functioning very well to produce a productive snip.

To explain, my question was not to imply that this would ruin anything
for anyone. It was to ask if people thought that her being religious
would be unattractive.

It's like SB said, it's unlikely that religion is a HUGE part of her life seeing as she's in a relationship with Shepard.

What if Shepard's the one who's religious? Wouldn't that make her religious too?
